I haven't had a chance yet to take a deep dive into tweaking audio settings and learning techniques on how to get the most out of this microphone, but from how I've played with it so far I am very pleased with it and super excited to make recordings. I mainly want to record audio for ASMR, podcasting, and also stories and songs that my kids make up. I love that I can plug it into my phone and use it easy-peasy, especially on the fly for those silly stories and songs :-) The only negative thing I can say about the mic so far is that when I opened the package, the foam cover for the mic was squished into an oddly shaped space and therefore was misshapen and dented. However, after taking the foam piece out and letting it sit for a while (I didn't keep track how long, but it was a couple weeks) I remembered it was in a corner somewhere and lo and behold it had "fixed" itself. Doubt it took the entire time I let it sit out, guessing maybe a few days or a week? Mic seemed to work fine with it after sitting, too. ... show more

    • Well build mic
My boss had some hearing problems and always blamed my mic when online meetings. Last time he yelled at me about what kind of mic I was using, and I showed him this. He started to check his hearing aids and found it was out of battery.
