The mic is made fairly well for its price point. I cannot speak on the other mics around this price point or cheaper though. The one thing I wish this mic did differently was the screen. If the tube attached to the screen was more adjustable as it would not fall I would appreciate it. Currently, you have to position the screen a certain way to prevent it from falling over.

We had 2 Logitech G430 headphones with mics and they both broke. Because of this, we wanted to get a less bulky headphone with a standing mic hoping that replacing these won’t be as frequent. The standing mic has been great and surprisingly, doesn’t get in the way of playing games. It’s easy to set up and has been working well. Friends have stated that they could hear us much more clearly compared to using the mic embedded in our old headphones.

This would have been a much better product, IF it came with the CORRECT instructions. As you can see the mic instruction user guide is not for this mic! I had to watch someone put it together to understand how to use it.

It's a single condenser mic so you have to put the correct side towards you. Point the logo towards yourself, point it at a 45 degree angle so your voice is sort of flowing over it, and keep your mouth about a foot away. If you talk into the wrong side of it it'll sound quiet, which is what I think is happening to some other reviewers.

I frankly wasn't expecting much for the price, but the quality of sound is surprisingly good. Also, since the mic is USB, the installation was basically automatic. It works well with Adobe Audition, which is sound editing program I use. It also connects easily to PowerDirector.

This quality of this mic impressed me for how much it costs. Also the accessories that came with it. Setup was literally plug and play within seconds. The only thing I’m disappointed in is the fact they market this for gaming and video conferencing, yet i have the input cranked to 100% and people constantly complain about not hearing me very well. Complaints are random Mike is about 2 feet away sitting next to my keyboard but if I bring the mic closer to my mouth and hold it down as fine. Did you say the business is 1015 cm from your mouth, but yet there’s also a picture of someone setting it on the desk next to the computer which leads me to believe that it would work for that.
