I bought this mic a little while ago and its still holding up really well, the stand is very sturdy, and the mic is made of metal so you know it can take some abuse. I use this for calls as well as for gaming and it works really well with both with very great sound quality for the cost according to my online friends. However there are a few things I feel like need to be addressed, in the listing it says it has a cardioid pattern, but in my testing is seems to be on the borderline of hyper and super cardioid as noise can be detected on the sides of the microphone instead of in the front. Another thing in this bundle I don't find all that useful is the windscreen pop filter, I find the foam cap filter works better and isn't as intrusive on the sound, but thats just personal preference. My final complaint lies in the monitoring, my mic's monitoring output sounds like it is clipping and isn't as crisp as what my friends hear, so its hard to tell if you are being too loud or if you are too close to the mic when everything you hear from monitoring is distorted. This is a very good budget mic but I feel like you would get a better mic from Mackie or Audio-Technica and be much happier with the sound on both ends. ... show more

I started my YouTube channel recently and Looking in the market for a good beginner mic. I am looking at the factor that is suitable for a budget, this mic seems have a complete package. The package is secured in the hard paper box which potentially make it a great gift. It comes with a XLR mic, a XLR CABLE, a good built adjustable arm, few straps for managerial. The setup is really easy, I found the clamp of the arm is a-bit to loose to hold on the table. If it can be a slight bigger clamp will be much better. The mic itself is actually quite good in quality, it was well built and a fully usable condenser mic. The sound quality I found it to be good enough for podcast, and my live streams. The sound is clear and really minimize the noise in the room. The muffler is a good additional too. For this decent low price, I can say it fits my needs, but again, I would upgrade to a more sturdy arm if I can go higher in budget. it is still plenty usable for low cost. ... show more
