Worked excellent on our OG switch. The factory dock went out and this worked like a charm. Just make sure to use the correct power supply. We used our factory charger but I’m sure any with the same power would be fine.

Didn't work out of box. Usb c connector was not making consistent connection for charging and no output was sent to TV. Tried second TV with same results. Wish it did work. Not cost effective to return for me.

Does the job to play on docked mode ,but using a basic usb-c cable charger plugged straight to the wall doesn’t seem to charge while the switch is on docked mode (the battery just drains slower as opposed to being constantly charged, sleep mode doesn’t have a problem with charging though). I don’t have an official switch charger but I assume that would work best as the box does say an official one would work best. I would keep that in mind before buying to check if you can supply enough power to your switch with any current chargers you have and if not, to buy an official charger along with this cable.

This works as intended for us! A much cheaper alternative to buying a second dock! We use it mainly to connect my daughter’s switch to her big gaming PC monitor. But it’s also great for travel! I haven’t had any issues so I’d recommend and buy again!
