  • Slowly failing
The USB out ports are failing one by one in less than a year. It also no longer automatically switches to the most recently activated input. UPDATE: After posting this review I was contacted and the vendor kindly offered a replacement for the device. Other than the trouble with the USB ports this device does work properly and I'm generally very happy with it. I use an HDMI 4 way splitter with this device and I Have USB and HDMI cables running to 4 rooms in my house and the HDMI functionality has been consistently reliable. Out of all other similar products I would still choose this one as I cannot find another with the same features and it does seem solid and well made. Having bought it in December then having a problem 9 months later, I think it's very decent of the vendor to contact me and provide a replacement. Very good customer service which I almost never get anywhere. ... show more

  • Almost perfect
Everything works well. I've had zero issues with it in the first week. The only thing I wish it had would be a keyboard hotkey switch like scroll lock twice. It's placed close enough to me the front buttons work well so i'm not using the wired switcher. Keyboard shortcuts > wired dodad. Otherwise yes I'd recommend. ... show more

  • Switch works great but WHAT IS THIS?! A REMOTE FOR ANTS?!
It seems like it got easier to find a good 4 port KVM in the last few months and so far this one works as advertised. The 4 USB ports and full, USB 3.0 support are great and a big advantage over a lot of switches I've found. My last one had a single 3.0 port, plus 2 1.0s for mouse and keyboard. The advantage my last one had was a WIRELESS remote because it's 2023 and I've been controlling things remotely since the 80s. A wired remote feels really lazy for a PC product. Also, the picture of the remote is ridiculously deceptive and seems to have used a newborn for a model. I've included a comparison photo and I assure you, I am a normal-sized human being. I don't need reading glasses yet but I'm going to if I keep using this switch. At minimum, this KVM needs an adult-sized, wired remote but what it really needs is a wireless one. ... show more

  • Display stopped working after 2 days. Customer Support kicked in and worked with me for two days
Had only one system connected. Mac Pro. Everything worked for 2 days (Headset, Keyboard, Mouse, Display). After 2 days, display stopped working. Worked with Amazon on debugging the setup. -- Update After Amazon support could not help, I returned the product. I got a note through Amazon.com from the seller asking about the defect. Carrie was unrelenting wanted to make sure she understood the root cause of the problem. She worked weekends and off-hours to understand the problem. After going back and forth, we isolated the problem to USB-C/HDMI converter problem for MAC M1 chips. The seller had tested this setup with a specific USB-C/HDMI connector and offered to expedite ship that to me for free in return for giving them another shot. I have not received the connecter yet. But I am upgrading the review to 5 stars because: 1. Exceptional customer support 2. Doing the right thing by customer 3. Understanding the problem and providing a solution 4. Standing by their product 5. Co-ordinating with the distribution/shipping -- Update 2 I received the replacement KVM Switch and the approved USB-C connector from the seller. Same setup (1 LG Wide screen 34" Monitor), 1 Computer (Mac M1 Pro), 1 Keyboard/Mouse (Logitech Trackball). Used the USB-C connector that you shipped for the monitor. The monitor is now being recognized as Generic non-PNP and the resolution is completely messed up. The largest resolution I could choose is 1920x1080/60Hz. After choosing this resolution, the monitor consistently flickers and unusable. -- Update 3 After trying several things, what works is unplugging the keyboard/mouse and let the monitor come online when you turn on the power. Then connect the Keyboard/mouse. Then the MAC recognizes the monitor correctly. -- Update 4 After couple of days, 1. Keyboard.mouse continues to be an issue. Just follow the order of monitor first and then connecting other peripherals 2. I see whitegrains every now and then. But turning off/on the KVM switch seems to solve the problem Continue to get good support from the team. Upgrading review. ... show more
