I purchased this KVM switch to change monitor inputs between my work and personal laptops. It works as described. This device is simple with a plug and play setup. My favorite feature is the remote switch so I don't have to reach for the button on the box. This allowed me to get ingenuitive and mount my entire unit to the underside of my desk. Needless to say the unit is compact and light weight. The biggest caveat is switching between inputs is not instantaneous, but if that isn't a concern, this is a great budget KVM switch.

Thanks to windows 10 going end-of-support in Oct 2025, I bought a new windows 11 PC. My Win 10 tower had Display Port output and the new PC had HDMI. My monitor supported HDMI. I purchased a DP to HDMI cable separately for my Win 10 machine so that both PCs and the monitor used HDMI interface. I hooked up all cables to the KVM (HDMIs in, HDMI out, Keyboard, Mouse and USB cables). I powered up both PCs and I was up and running without a glitch. I stuffed the KVM switch and cables under my desk and ran the remote switch button to the top of my desk. The remote switch button really made this set up work easily without having to fish around under my desk for the KVM switch itself when switching between PCs. I inserted a 256GB Samsung flash drive into the switch and used it copy all my data from the Win10 machine to the Win11 machine. It took a few weeks to complete customization of the Win11 PC and switching between the PCs was flawless with this KVM switch. The KVM has standard HDMI ports so before you buy, just make sure you have all the HDMI connections and cables that you'll need. This is a great little KVM switch. 5 stars.

I received this little box today and, to say the least, I was skeptical. The instructions leave a bit to be desired. After a few cabling issues, my fault, the magic box worked perfectly. I am able to switch between my Win 10 server and my new model Mac MINI without a hitch. The little box simply WORKED! One of my 'cabling' problems had to do with the lack of instructions regarding the keyboard and mouse. They must be connected to the FRONT of the box. It really only makes sense. After I figured that out everything worked as advertised. I'm very pleased with this little box and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a DVI switch for a MAC and PC, even a brand new, current generation MAC MINI! Cheers

I ordered this to replace my old KVM switch that started having issues. Pros: It was easy to setup and has worked fine since it was installed. The cable management is better than my old switch (which had fixed cables, as opposed to this switch where you only plug in what you need). I have it attached under my desk with zip-ties, with the remote button on the desk for switching, which is a neat and clean setup. Cons: Occasionally when switching between computers the monitor will go black for a few seconds and then resume displaying. A minor gripe is the remote button doesn't have a satisfying feel/click to it, and it's all black instead of two-tone like my previous (which is my preference).

No HDR ports! This switch works exactly how I want it to, one click and I switch from work to personal. Only problem is there are only hdmi ports which shows how this product is getting dated, make sure your computer has enough HDMI ports for each monitor before you buy. Most new graphics cards only have one now from what I see, but your motherboard usually has one or two so that works.
