We played Harry Potter House Cup three times on the day we opened it. It is easy to set up and fairly simple to learn. There are a couple of ambiguous rules, but we figured it out quickly. The best part of the game is adding the "gems" to the House Points hourglasses - you are almost compelled to announce "50 points for Gryffindor!" This is a great game for Harry Potter fans.

This game is a lot of fun! If you're a Harry Potter fan you'll like it. The only thing, it's a little difficult to learn but once you get the hang of it it's super easy! My family and I love to play this game.

I got this for my daughter for Christmas. It was a lot of fun and the more we played, the more we got the hang of it. 4 stars because one of the house vials came cracked, which stinks. Trying to find a way to fix it.

I received this as a gift, it looks lovely and It's well made but thats where the praise stops. I read the instruction book to try to understand how to play (the abundance of different pieces included were daunting) I had to read the book multiple times before I thought I knew it enough to try to explain it to other players. It was still a struggle, we all gave up before we got completely through the "2nd round." It's a beautifully made game aesthetic wise but functionality it sorely lacks. I thoroughly enjoy board games but I'm personally not a fan of a game I feel I'd need to "take a class on" to play.
