    • If you work with molten metal - buy these now!
A little background in myself. I am new to working with molten metal / high temp flames. We learn by making mistakes, but making mistakes in these circumstances can lead to permanent injury. These gloves have saved my hands from minor mistakes more than once. For example, I picked up metal tools that were extremely hot (but not visibly hot). After a few seconds I began to feel the extreme heat through the gloves and realized my mistake. I immediately put the tool down, quickly took off the gloves, and rinsed my hands in cold water. No burns at all. Yes, situational awareness can mitigate the need for PPE. But as humans mistakes happen. Be smart and don’t skimp on your PPE. ... show more

I had been having problems finding gloves that would really protect me, so I tried a pair of these and FINALLY I found a pair of gloves that worked! After I tried them the first couple of times, I ordered another pair for my son. I wish I had found Cast Masters sooner. Great product, great price....

    • Impressive so far with a small issue.
So far I’ve been impressed. I’ve only used it once so far to melt about 50 cans, but it was very easy to assemble and did the job well. The only downside so far is that the heat caused some warping and the lid no longer matches up with the bottom, but it’s not a major issue.
