We have purchased and displayed a total of three of this particular type of flag over the past several years. Since we display it constantly we realize that it is only going to last a fairly predictable length of time—usually about 12-18 months. Our current flag, however, has lasted nearly 2 years, with one notable exception — the white stripes, which have begun developing holes along their entire length. The rest of the flag is in fairly good shape, and the colors are still clear. IF the white stripes could be brought up to par with the rest of the stripes, stars and star field, this would be an outstandingly durable flag. As it is, I guess we’ll just have to keep replacing it every 18 months or so. ... show more

I keep a flag out all year, even in bad weather. I’ve purchased this flag 2-3 times and it’s very nice and bright. We’ve replaced it because it got worn and frayed at the bottom but only after being out for over a year each time and I think it kept brushing against our holly bushes which may have caused the fraying. ... show more
