    • Economically reflects heat, crinkly look is nice
First, know that reflective insulation needs an air gap between the heat source and what you're trying to keep cooler. Like 3/4" or 2cm of well-ventilated air. The foam is thin so won't offer much resistance to heat transfer by itself. The foil bounces back the heat, so install it right & you'll be impressed what something so thin can do. I got the white vinyl on the back side so it will stick with adhesive better than the 2 foil faced type. My 1st application is to reflect heat back to an oven which sits right next to a refrigerator - I'll update if I have any issues. But this is perfect for the job: thin enough to leave some air to convect heat away, yet with some foam insulation to protect the adhesive. I like the surface appearance. It's wrinkly from the foam, so it won't look like a giant plastic mirror on the wall. I had some questions about the product, and the owner, Mike, was quick to reply. Purchased this to make my Pop-Up camper darker. It does the trick. Added bonus I didn’t anticipate, it keeps it cooler in the summer heat and warmer in the cold nights at high elevation. I’m looking forward to camping this winter and seeing how it works out. If you are familiar with Pop-Ups most have skippered windows with a strap to hold them when there unzipped, I slide the insulation along the side between the vinyl and the strap. In less than 5 minutes I have a 4 season camper for minimal cost. ... show more

Looks good and is very easy to work with. Used this for RV insulation purposes in tight areas. Does not absorb moisture and adheres to spray adhesive nicely. Wish it had more air-space (bubbles?) inside it for higher RV rating, (it is more of a reflective product) but for this current project it was the closest thing I could find to fit the space. We used this to, semi insulate, and lighten the ceiling in our work shed ( we have a 16x8 foot barn roof shed). The white side out saved us from painting i, and adds a lot of inside reflected light. The silver side up towards tin roof will help reflect back the heat in summer. Fast easy solution for our needs. ... show more
