Description

Superior light transmittance & optics Scratch resistant nano coating Protect your lens from dust, debris, oil, smudges & water CNC precision machining for an ultra slim, double threaded rim & non slip grip Comes with a protective travel case for travel and all-terrain use Urth is committed to accountability, transparency & continuous improvement Urth products are guaranteed for life, as longevity is key to sustainability Each Urth product funds regeneration projects for a 10x greater positive impact 1. How can I determine the right filter size for my camera lens? Find your lens filter size (in mm) printed near the Ø symbol on the lens or back of the lens cap. You can also find your filter size on your lens cap, or search online with your lens model, e.g., "Canon EF 24mm f1.4L USM II filter size" for 77mm. 2. What's the difference between the Urth and Urth Plus+ ranges? Urth has two ranges: Urth (standard) with Japanese AGC glass and an 8-layer nano-coating, and Urth Plus+ (professional) with German SCHOTT glass and a 20-layer nano-coating (30 layers for UV Plus+). 3. Can I stack multiple filters? Yes, our filters are double-threaded for stacking. For best image quality, use only one filter at a time as stacking can cause vignetting. Avoid stacking more than two filters. 4. What ND filter do I need? Variable ND: Good for changing light. Fixed ND: Best for control. Remember, higher ND numbers mean more light restriction. For bright conditions or silky water effects, use ND64 to ND1000. ND64 is versatile for most situations. 5. What ND filter should I use with a telephoto or wide-angle lens? For wide-angle and telephoto lenses, we recommend our Variable ND2-32, ND8-128 or fixed ND filters to avoid an x-cross effect in your photos. • Smooth, Clean, and Exactly What You Want from a Variable ND
Size: 67mm
This Urth 67mm Variable ND filter is one of the best values I’ve found in a mid-range ND—excellent clarity, smooth control, and no weird color shifts in my footage so far. I use it mainly for outdoor video work and long-exposure photography, and it's made a big difference. It covers a wide ND2–400 range (1 to 8.6 stops), which gives me a ton of flexibility in changing light without having to swap filters. The adjustment ring turns smoothly with just enough resistance, and the stops are marked clearly. No cross-patterning or X shadows, even near the higher end of the range, which was a pleasant surprise for the price. The ultra-slim frame fits perfectly on my 67mm lenses without vignetting, and it still allows the lens cap to snap on. It’s also lightweight but sturdy, with a premium feel thanks to the 20-layer nano coating—resistant to dust, moisture, and scratches. Easy to use. This is a great choice for both hobbyists and serious creators. Whether you’re shooting in harsh sunlight, smoothing water shots, or just want more cinematic control, this filter does the job beautifully. The eco-conscious packaging and Urth’s mission to plant trees with every purchase is also a nice touch. Highly recommended for anyone looking for professional-level results at an affordable price. ... show more

  • Great Value
Size: 67mm
For hobbyist shooters and pro-sumers, its good and versatile enough. There are obviously fancier Variable ND filters. I haven't encountered any problems, no x's in the image when switching between stops. Great price and durable and versatile.

  • Solid Option but not perfect
Size: 86mm
Solid option to use for ND. Definitely has a bit of vignetting and a green shift in the image. It is not super bad compared to other ND filters though. This is a pretty solid option but not perfect.

  • Great quality Great quality
Size: 55mm
I own 5 URTH ND filters that i use for my black magic and sony cameras. They come with a great case, cleaning cloth and is very good quality for the price. no weird color tinting and just does the job.

  • It's a great product It's a great product
Size: 43mm
It is well worth what I paid for it. The fact that it's variable means that there's that versatility when I need different settings. The only gripe that I have is that with the combination of a wide lens, wide aperture lens and ND filter, the Vignette is quite apparent. Nonetheless, it's a great product. ... show more

  • They sent the wrong size
Size: 62mm
Looks like Amazon do not pay much attention to what they are labeling. I ordered the 62mm, but they sent a 39mm. The Urth box itself clearly said 39mm all over, but for some reason Amazon put a 62mm label on it (the one with the barcode), so I can see why they shipped the wrong one. I decided not to go through the hassle of having it changed/returned because I do have lenses that could use the 39mm filter, and also considering how inexpensive it is. The filter is really good, though. Build quality feels premium, it's very slim, and it works great, with no X pattern or vignetting. I guess I just wasn't lucky getting the right size, so I'll try my luck ordering the 62mm again. ... show more
