Superior light transmittance & optics Scratch resistant nano coating Protect your lens from dust, debris, oil, smudges & water CNC precision machining for an ultra slim, double threaded rim & non slip grip Comes with a protective travel case for travel and all-terrain use Urth is committed to accountability, transparency & continuous improvement Urth products are guaranteed for life, as longevity is key to sustainability Each Urth product funds regeneration projects for a 10x greater positive impact 1. How can I determine the right filter size for my camera lens? Find your lens filter size (in mm) printed near the Ø symbol on the lens or back of the lens cap. You can also find your filter size on your lens cap, or search online with your lens model, e.g., "Canon EF 24mm f1.4L USM II filter size" for 77mm. 2. What's the difference between the Urth and Urth Plus+ ranges? Urth has two ranges: Urth (standard) with Japanese AGC glass and an 8-layer nano-coating, and Urth Plus+ (professional) with German SCHOTT glass and a 20-layer nano-coating (30 layers for UV Plus+). 3. Can I stack multiple filters? Yes, our filters are double-threaded for stacking. For best image quality, use only one filter at a time as stacking can cause vignetting. Avoid stacking more than two filters. 4. What ND filter do I need? Variable ND: Good for changing light. Fixed ND: Best for control. Remember, higher ND numbers mean more light restriction. For bright conditions or silky water effects, use ND64 to ND1000. ND64 is versatile for most situations. 5. What ND filter should I use with a telephoto or wide-angle lens? For wide-angle and telephoto lenses, we recommend our Variable ND2-32, ND8-128 or fixed ND filters to avoid an x-cross effect in your photos. • Important for your kit! Don’t sleep on this
Size: 58mm
Not bad! Gotta say I’m impressed. They definitely keep those over exposure shots under control. Specially when you want to shoot at a low F stop. Attached are some shots I took during a hike in the Mojave desert and yes the sun was real bright! These are post edit but wouldn’t of been possible without these filters. • Excellent Quality!
Size: 77mm
The quality of this filter is superb! It has a quality build and feel in your hand. The glass element looks high grade and it has a hard stop on each end of the variable ND that doesn’t let the lens keep rotating past it’s limit of ND. I’m gonna buy more!

  • Not the best option.
Size: 49mm
Nice packaging and presentation. The filter feels nicely made and I like that it has hard stops at the top and bottom of the range. Nice feature. However, every image shot through this filter was softer and lacked the usual detail that I get when shooting the exact same set up (Leica M7 + Fuji Acros 100) with no filter. I wish I could return this as it wasn’t inexpensive but it took me too long to process all of my film and I missed the window for return. Going back to my B+W non-variable ND. ... show more

  • A Quality ND at a good Price Point
Size: 52mm
I purchased two of these Urth ND filters, one in the 52mm thread and the other in a 58mm thread. I use both on my Sony ZV-1 with the standard lens and the larger of the two when using the Ulanzi WL-1 wide-angle lens. Good marking on the filter to show where you are at in the ND range, hard stops and both ends, and minimal (if any) color cast. I have seen none of the dreaded "X" patterns of cross-polarization anywhere throughout the ND range. This is a "shut up and take my money" product. Purchase with confidence. ... show more

  • First filter, great experience!
Size: 58mm
I got the 58mm for my Canon 6D. It fits snug and looks great. This is my first filter and it makes me want more. I love the ease of changing the amount of filter just by a quick turn of the filter itself. Right away I noticed how it helped minimize intense light glares and brought out deep shadows. The case to store it in is simple and protective. Overall- great product- plus I helped plant 5 trees along the way so that is awesome. ... show more

  • Beautiful filter
Size: 55mm
So I bit the bullet and purchased a variable ND filter. Previously I had the screw on kind and doubled or tripled up the filters for darker and darker neutral density as required. Variable is the way to go. Comes with a metal storage box and a swatch of cloth. I use it exclusively on my vintage manual lenses. The storage tin is nice to have, but if it added to the price, would rather taken a lower price. Don't get me wrong this storage tin with foam insert is top notch, not cheapy and a keeper, but now it adds to the camera clutter. ... show more

  • My new favorite filter company
Size: 55mm
I bought the 55m for my Sony 35 1.8 prime lens and it is incredible! I previously had a different nd filter that spun freely in both directions. I really like that this one has a hard stop at the min/max settings so I can confidently and quickly flip it in either direction. Really well made and image quality is completely unaffected. I am not noticing any color cast or loss in sharpness at all. This is a MUST for video shooters. I will definitely be buying more from this brand in the future, I'm very impressed. I think this is the sweet point of value and quality. ... show more

  • Extreme vignetting at higher setting.
Size: 55mm
Normally, I have positive experiences with URTH products. But, after returning from shooting with this filter, I noticed extreme vignetting and discoloration of image when using the higher (darker) settings of this filter. I will try another brand. Ultimately though, URTH does product good products.
