Wow, I love how creamy and easy to apply this eye shadow base is! I would absolutely love to try every color. I am at an age where I like to apply these shadow sticks to even out my skin tone on the lids and, depending on the color, get a bit of a highlight/brightening effect from it. Lots of cosmetic have started to bother my eyes in the past year or so. They can easily get irritated with some products, but I’ve worn this one several days and so far, no irritation! This is a huge plus. I also hate how a lot of products will grab and pull at mature skin when applying, but this stick is so smooth and creamy I don’t get any of that either. it’s been great to apply and wear. It lasts quite awhile without reapplication too. The only thing I wasn’t expecting and it was likely my fault for not digging in for the details before ordering is that there’s a glittery effect when I apply this. It’s mostly a moot point for me since I have been using it as a base and highlighter, and apply another subtle color on top. It’s worth noting though, if you plan to use this on its own. I’m sure it looks amazing on someone younger, but I just feel I’m a little old for the glittery look. Absolutely worth the buy.

I prefer to use cream eyeshadow on my more "mature" lids, and I love a stick-style design for easy application and ultimate portability. However, I find that the staying power varies widely based on brand formulation, and it's difficult to find a cream shadow that stays put all day. Public Service Announcement: this cream stick by Urban Decay has mega-caliber staying power! I applied yesterday around 7:30 AM and it was perfectly placed with zero creasing or wear when I removed it 13 hours later! I selected the Peach Bum shade as I have light green eyes, and the color is a light champagne-peach that makes my eyes pop. It's also a shimmery but not over the top. I just cannot do matte shadows as they seem to age me about 10 years when I try them. The Peach Bum shade can be used as a single-wear color across the lid and crease or as a highlighter beneath the brows when layered with darker shades. The rounded tip of the cream stick makes application sooooo simple. It's even narrow enough to lightly apply below the lower lash line for extra visual punch. I will absolutely be ordering this cream stick in the Private Album shade.

I don't do makeup often, but when I do, I'm a big fan of Urban Decay. I've never used any cream eye shadows from them, before, my wife and I just own an awful lot of their palettes. When I was offered this cream version in several shades, I jumped at the opportunity to review all of them. I just did a super quick look in terrible lighting at the little mirror on my desk and I don't think it looks terrible considering the circumstances. I used Peach Bum as the base and then went from the center outwards with Toasty, and dabbed a tiny bit of Private Album on the outer corners. Super easy to do, no brushes needed. You could probably get a more professional look than I did if you want to bust out the brushes (or maybe if you have skills I don't) but they really don't feel necessary with these. They blend into each other super easily by just applying the stick where you want it. I'm very happy with them, glad to have added them to my collection and excited to try more of the shades.

I'm a big fan of Urban Decay! The company gets bonus points for being vegan and cruelty free, but I have mixed feelings about this product. I ordered the Naked Eyeshadow Stick and I'm mostly pleased with the results. The color and sparkle in this eyeshadow is lovely. It gives a nice highlight and blends smoothly with other products. The shadow is soft and creamy. Easy to apply and easy to clean with makeup remover. It is waterproof and long lasting. The price is fair. I have aging skin and unfortunately, I found that I could only wear this shadow just beneath my brow. If I wear it on my lids or the corner of my eye it settles into fine lines and creases. I tried primer and it still creased. I'm a little bummed that it doesn't work for my lids, but I'll still use it as a highlighter. It would be excellent for someone with less wrinkles!

I love this eyeshadow stick even more than I even expected to! The first thing that got me is how easy it is to apply. The stick has a wider, rounded tip and the formula is creamy, so it glides on smoothly without tugging at your eyelids. It makes application really quick and effortless. The pigmentation is great and easy to build, whether you want a soft wash of color or something a little more defined. The Cool Taupe Shimmer shade is gorgeous. It’s a flattering neutral with just a hint of shimmer that adds a nice glow without looking overdone or too shiny, so you can absolutely wear it during the day. I also love the design. You don’t have to deal with sharpening since it twists up, which makes it super convenient and not messy. Highly recommend. This works well on its own for a simple look, but it also layers nicely as a base. Overall, I’m really impressed with this and have been using it all the time. Love, love, love this.
