It lasts well throughout the day once applied, but the pen itself dries out relatively quickly, so you may need to replace it more often than other eyeliners. I would give this 5 stars solely based on how smooth and nice it applies. BUT im truly disappointed that it only last 3 weeks before drying out. Im hoping its a fluke so I bought one more, but as a daily user of eye liner, I cant justify buying a new one every single month.
