This case cover is made with Kevlar and meets military grade requirements. The corners are raised and reinforced. The side buttons are raised, much easier to use vs. my previous silicone cover which fell apart at the corners.

its nice kevlar is fraying a bit on the edges, hope it doesnt get worse. CArbon fiber (not fake carbon fiber) is probably a better option. The kevlar looks nice, but I cant say why Kevlar is really needed. I have no way of telling if it is in fact Kevlar. Just looks like nice think woven material to me. Any who if it doesnt fray anymore it should be a good case ... show more

I took a chance after reading the review about fraying. I love the feel of the Kevlar, helps with tactility but mine has had a few threads fray from the bottom edge. I’m taking a wait and see approach. I’ve had three monarchs and loved and depended on the protection but wanted something slimmer this time. I’ve dropped my 13 Pro twice with this case and the Metropolis has done it’s job. I’ll report back if the fraying continues. ... show more

At first glance the doesn’t look so sturdy, but when you put it on the phone it feels and looks great. Also I already dropped my phone few times without any issues. I’ve few more UAG and Apple cases, but this one so far is the best fit for me, because it’s not bulky at all, feels great in my hand, it’s very grippy, that Olive Kevlar looks awesome and MagSafe works with no problems. ... show more

This bad boy is too cool. Love the look an the feel. UAG does it right. I always get one for iPhone an we upgrade all the time. This I think is my fourth one. Just got the 13 pro for this latest case

I have only used UAG cases on my iphones for the last three phones. Also use them on all my ipads. Their cases are amazing and offer superior protection. The buttons work with ease. They all have been well designed. This case is the exception. The “kevlar” back was a bad idea. I returned this after one week. The stitching on the back was frayed on both sides and strings were sticking out. I can only imagine how this thing looks after a year. I was not hard in it. The fraying likely happened pulling it in and out of pockets. I wish i to take a picture of it. The case will protect your phone as other UAG cases do. It fits great. Just dont expect the “kevlar” back to hold up long. ... show more
