We got this fence to protect our Christmas tree and ornaments from our puppy who's going through a mischievous stage. It worked, but here's what you need to know: One set wasn't enough fencing to completely surround our tree. We had to get a second set to make a big enough perimeter. If your tree is against a wall and isn't fully exposed on all sides, you might be able to get away with one set, but we found using just one set wasn't adequate for our needs. It's very lightweight. Our dog was able to easily push it inward and move it. We countered this by bringing some heavy rocks in from the backyard to brace it from the inside. It's really low BUT the pickets effectively discouraged our dog from trying to reach or jump over it, so the height of the fence wasn't a problem. After a few tries, our very curious puppy completely lost interest in the tree! Success! It actually looks pretty nice around the tree! We had family members compliment us for being able to find a dogproof solution that didn't detract from the tree. Overall, I definitely recommend. We just put our Christmas decorations away and will be using this fencing again next year. ... show more

First of all… I want to say that the design is cute & the idea is neat but realistically not sure how this will hold up… it’s not sturdy at all so I’m not sure how well this will work.. Also, it’s not the easiest to snap each piece into one another. Some did assemble easier then others but majority of them were a pain in the butt to lock into one another. Also for storage it will roll up but it is def bulky and doesn’t make for easy storage unless you unhook each piece which is a total pain in the butt. Honestly not even sure if it’s worth the $20 spent on it. Most likely will be returning ... show more

From the picture they look tall and like they would cover my bottom tree. I got these to help with the cats going under my tree. However when they got here they are small, they don't reach the bottom of my tree at all. But still they are cute and pretty easy together

Product is half the size of what it looks like in the picture, very cheap ridged plastic. I just used this to deter my puppy from the presents when I’m not home. If she wanted to actually grab them though she easily could’ve she just didn’t care too much about the presents, this was just a little precaution. ... show more

What I liked the most about the product was how easy it was to assemble and it looked great putting it around my Christmas tree to protect it from the cats! What I disliked was there wasn’t quite enough pieces in the box to do a full 360 around the whole tree and I wish these little fences where about 6” higher then it would’ve been perfect as they are currently only 12” high. Needed something to keep my puppy away from tree! Is made of plastic and questionable at first, but does the job nicely. easy to put together. Needed more pieces, altogether 35 pieces around tree sufficient. Recommend, price is right.
