I got these because my old ones quit working/fell apart, rusted, or went missing. I think its absolute genius to do a combo pack like this and these are the main ones you need minus regular pliers. Also I thought it was smart that with the pouch you have a designated place for them to go and its gonna be hard to loose that . I had no idea how bad 'cheap' pliers were until I used these and they are definitely not lacking quality . As soon as I picked up the first one I thought wow heavy, real deal, nice handle, and these are gonna last. I also recognized what I have heard from the pros so many times is right, that the job is better and quicker with good quality tools. I want to point out that the pouch mine came in has two holes with a metal in ring. This could easily be nailed so they are on your garage/workshop wall etc. I have a tool drawer in my house that I keep for when stuff happens and this is so nice I can wrap them up in my pouch and know exactly where at least 4 of my pliers are. My best ones on top of that. And speaking of when crazy stuff happens this would be great gift to anyone for them to have on hand in their house or in their trunk. And too it would be a quality gift. For the money I cannot expect a fine set of pliers. Given that, the set will for my needs. I like having spares of everything for different locations. I don't expect these to last under stressful conditions repeatedly and over time. The movements are not smooth and the handles are brittle so not comfortable. This is a good set if you want spares for your nice tools. ... show more
