I have started regularly buying this pack of precut fabric squares for use in many different sewing projects. Have bought other similar packets where the fabric was shiny and/or silky feeling, however the weight and finish of this fabric is perfect. My only complaint is the amount of black and gray squares are honestly too many while the reds and orange are hardly enough. Anyway, for this price it’s the best deal on Amazon that I’ve found and will continue to purchase in the future.

I would have given this 5 stars but I received 4 squares of solid white when the photo only showed colors! The fabric is of a nice weight and feel. I will use these in my quilting.

A few weeks ago I ordered some Bowl Cozy templates to make quilted bowl cozies. Before I can even start the cozies, I need to get the supplies. So I have been looking for design ideas and fabric. I saw the quilt made with the (Solid Color Bundle) on the product page for theses 100% 4x4 cotton fabric squares, it was exactly what I was looking for. The fact that the squares were already pre-cut was even better. The material included in this bundle is nice. The colors are bright. There is a nice variety in of colors and different shades. The bundles come in 4 different color combinations. In the bundle I received there is very little fraying on the cut edges. I have decided not to pre-wash the fabric. because of the size of the squares along with the fact that 100% cotton fabric can shrink. Once I have the fabric pieced together and sewn, I will then toss it in the washer before attaching the back and batting. I will update if there are any negative results. I took a screenshot of the quilt on the product page and included it with this review as a reference only. Once I get my project finished, I plan to also include pictures of the finished items.

As a quilter, I was excited to see Amazon was offering Fat Quarters (which was how they were described when I ordered them, they have since changed the description) in so many colors. When they arrived, I was disappointed that they were squares (kind of, see photo) instead of fat quarters. And going a step further, they are not 10 inch squares, which is what standard pre-cuts are. When you deal with quarter inch seams, this makes a real difference. However, I will be able to use the fabric for smaller projects. So overall, it’s a good value for so many different colors.

I received a package of 50 pieces of fabric almost all of a different color -- there were 3 white squares that seem to be the exact same, but otherwise each square was different. The quality seems to be similar with many of the lowest priced quilting cottons found at large craft/discount stores. The colors are very rich and beautiful. I knocked a star off because the description includes the inaccurate phrase "fat quarters," which these are most definitely not and also 9 7/8" is annoyingly just too small to use with many layer cake patterns, which require 10" squares. I'm looking forward to including these fabrics in a new quilt very soon!

This fabric come in an unfolded stack (not folded as in the advertised photos). The colors are vibrant and very pretty. They come flat and without wrinkles. I plan to use them in quilt making, applique, crafts, and for machine embroidery. Nicer quality than the solid fabric at my local sewing chain store and comparable to some fabric found at quilting shops. I'd definitely recommend for variety of color and value when looking for an assortment of this size fabric pieces.
