first off these are good ball joints and the annoying creak squeak is now gone. the problem i encountered was the top ball joints utilize a castle nut and have the cotter pin hole BUT the bottoms aren't drilled with the cotter pin hole and came with no nylon lock nuts. you have to utilize your old castle nut which is pointless with no cotter pin hole even with red loctite. I already lost one castle nut and have driven less than 20 miles. the nylon lock nut size you need for the lower is m16x1.5 makes no sense at all that the nuts aren't included. even the video on here shows him doing the upper ball joint, shows the cotter pin hole, then mysteriously he installs a completely different control arm and the ball joint on it no longer has a cotter pin hole and he doesn't use the castle nut... in the lower ball joint video they indeed use a lock nut. not a castle nut. and I confirmed 3 times I didn't put the bottoms on top and vice versa. 3 stars for no lock nut 4 stars for the ball joints themselves. ... show more

    • Nearly perfect. Lowers fit 2014 ram
Upper ball joints did not fit properly. Lower ball joints fit perfectly on my 2014 ram. The uppers seemed like the shaft was to narrow. With the proper ft/lbs of torque the castle nut was seated 1/4" above the cotter pin. Had to drill new holes on both ball joints.

lower ball joints were just short of fitting my '14 ram 1500, uppers fit fine but my mechanic had to order new lowers because these were to short to fit my truck and they ordered ones that would fit properly
