  • Helpful uppababy extension with 3 kids!
Configuration: Ride-Along Board
I searched reviews high and low about the piggyback. I have found so many mixed reviews and I finally broke down and got it because I plan on taking lots of long walks this spring/summer (live in NYS) and have a 4 year old who needs a break every so often. It was easy to install once I watched a you tube how to fit it on just right. It goes up and down easily. Squeeze latch to get it down and use feet or hands to move it up when not in use. My fear was.. it will be too heavy to push with my older kids on there. False! Not as hard as I thought. My 4 year old rides it and I can even go up hill with ease. Now my 6 year old likes to jump on every once in awhile too. He weighs 50 lbs and is tall for his age. It is manageable with him.. obviously a little harder to push and a little more awkward to the point I have to take slightly shorter strides with him on there (I am 5'5) and sometimes do have to walk a little more to the side. With my younger I don't have that issue. 55 lbs is the recommended weight capacity so I'm pretty happy for what it does do even with an older child on there, it's not enough for me to complain. One thing with an older child (my 6 yr old) on there is that if they're leaning a certain way the stroller can lift up so be sure to always have full hands on deck. That's really only happened one time in the 2 month we've used it so far. I was also worried that my shins would hit the piggyback in the up position. I've read some reviews of that and it almost talked me out of getting one aaaand I do not have that issue! My shins have never hit. Does great on sidewalks and streets. We've only used it with my infant daughter facing me in a regular seat with infant insert. The boys hold onto her bumper or the sides and there's room there for all. Overall I'm happy with it and no regrets purchasing it. It does its job and helps out my little people on our adventures and makes things easier for me! ... show more

  • Great for older kids
Configuration: Ride-Along Board
We have almost all of the attachments for the vista stroller. this design is efficient and easy to use. It can be folded up while not in use and does not need to be taken off while storing. It’s easy to install.

  • If you’re on the fence, let me be the one to tell you… BUY IT
Configuration: Ride-Along Board
This is truly money well spent. I was really on the fence about buying it just because I feel the price tag is a little extensive for the job that it provides but after learning that the rumble seat for the Vista only goes up to 35 pounds, I needed to find an alternative to how my four year old would be Joining us on excursions . Obviously, she can walk, but sometimes she likes to ride to, and the piggyback allows her to do that in a fun way! I highly recommend! I know some people say that it can inhibit the way you stride when you walk because you have to keep in mind of your kiddo on the board but I’m 5’9 with long legs and have no issue. I say, go for it!!! ... show more

  • Not as sturdy as I would have thought but daughter loves it
Configuration: Ride-Along Board
This is very good and adds great functionality to the stroller, but not as sturdy and solid feeling as the actual stroller itself. It has a kind of toy feel to it and sounds loud when it rolls (like a really cheap skateboard). That said, if it was really solidly built it would prob be too heavy and make packing the stroller much harder, so I’m Ok w lighter and cheaper as long as it doesnt break while my daughter is on it (holding up fine a few months into using it). This folds surprisingly well but does add a bit of weight and bulkiness to the stroller when folded. Be ready to have a little more strain on your back every time you load and unload the stroller from the car. Lastly, I would only use this with the extension kit upper adapter to make room between the seat and the child standing on the piggyback. Without it my 2.5 year old would not fit very easily. Also keep in mind that the child really doesnt have any view — she’s just looking at the back of the seat. That said, my little one still loves riding on it and never complains about the view! ... show more

  • Perfect for age gaps
Configuration: Ride-Along Board
We have a newborn and a four-year-old and this was the perfect addition to the stroller since she no longer sits in the regular stroller seat. She absolutely loves being able to ride in the stroller when she is tired and see her sister at the same time. It is extremely sturdy And well-made. definitely would recommend. ... show more

  • Piggyback board
Configuration: Ride-Along Board
Uppababy does it again. Easy to install and easy to use. It literally just snaps on and off. My 3 year old loves it. My one thing is that it's harder to use when you have an infant seat snapped in compared to the toddler seat. Would purchase again.
