I was terrified to buy the chair with ONE REVIEW, but it was so hard to find a rocker with the features I wanted that I was willing to risk it. I needed a chair that would fit in our tiny nursery, and would be comfortable for me and my husband. I’m 5’2 and most rockers are so deep, my feet don’t touch the floor and my back has no support. Meanwhile, my husband is a big dude and we needed a chair that wouldn’t break if he sat in it. The measurements and weight limit on this seemed to fit the bill so we tried it - and we are so happy with it! My feet touch the floor and I can rock easily. If I turn the included lumbar support pillow vertically, then my back touches the seat back comfortably. Hubby can rock away without the chair squeaking or struggling. The rocking motion is smooth, quiet and relaxing. And while product quality can be mixed with Amazon furniture, I was satisfied with this. No strong chemical odor or parts that seemed cheaply made. If there is any sort of a catch, I’d say that this is really more of a rocker than a recliner. Yes, it reclines, and you can lift foot rest separately from leaning the chair back, but it takes effort to recline the chair. Personally did not bother me at all, the default angle of the chair back is comfy so I felt no need to recline, but if you plan to recline a lot you should opt for a chair with electric controls. ... show more

My husband and I are both under 5’5”. Chairs are very comfortable. Love the green color. Fabric is soft. My feet touch the floor, so it’s easy to rock and swivel. They recline easily, HOWEVER, I really struggle to put the footrest back into an upright locked position. One chair, I can’t lock in place… I need my husband to do it. He enjoys laughing at me as I try to quickly get out of the chair without getting hit by the foot rest. This is the only reason I’m not giving 5 stars. ... show more

We bought this as a rocker for our new baby, we absolutely love it! Great price! It’s very comfortable! Easy to assemble, and perfect size! I love that it reclines as well, I will say the glide/swivel was a little tight at first but loosened up in the first couple weeks, great chair!
