This is a nice unit, it's a bit of effort to put together, but once it's together and in place, it's perfect. The shelves are sturdy, and the doors close as they should and lock. I'm updating my initial review (you can see below) as I was quite upset when I found my box to be lacking instructions and a parts list. But I'm resourceful and found an instructional video on YouTube of a similar cabinet. I was able to put my cabinet together and after finishing it, I said to myself, "I will buy another one." It is well made for the price and I'm quite happy with it overall. I'm raised my star rating from 2 to 4. If instructions were included, I'd give it 5 stars 🌟. Initial review: Mine came without instructions. I'm sure I can figure it out but I don't really want to if I don't have to. I haven't the time to figure something out that should have included instructions. How can I even be certain everything is here without a parts list. I am very annoyed at the moment. ... show more

decent cabinet for the price, but putting it together is a challenge. the panels weren't "square" so took a little ingenuity to put it together. the door lock only works if I apply pressure to the bottom on the door. all in all, it's pretty sturdy. I haven't decided if I'd buy it again or spring for the $500 gladiator. ... show more

    • Very difficult with poor assembly instructions

I really struggled trying to understand their instructions. Instead of photos and text, they used simple drawings. The drawings did not show the fine detail. The drawings are also in small print. Twice, I had to remove screws and start over. I also doubt this can be assembled in one hour as some reviewers indicated. I spent at least six hours and had to walk away twice due to my frustration. I'm not a handyman, but I have built decks and patio covers and assembled dozens of things in my lifetime. This was a challenge for me. I also did it myself; it would have been easier if a second person had helped. I pulled a muscle once, turning it over. I also dropped it once and put a dent in the side. I recommend using horses or a large table to make the assembly easy. The item description here on Amazon says not to tighten all screws until the final assembly. That was NOT in the printed assembly instructions ... show more
