The media could not be loaded. Had it running in minutes. This pump functions well and supplies plenty of pressure at 7 gal per minute at 70 PSI. I expect years of service from it. However, it was late, and I quickly set this up for a demonstration without securing it, using Teflon tape, or using proper connections, which means it is not securely fastened to minimize vibration, and that is why there is some water leaking from the filtered inlet. My main goal was to demonstrate that the pump works as advertised. This pump has a pressure switch which will shut it off when you aren't using water. It also comes with a stainless steel inlet filter which screws off by hand for easy cleaning and it has two replacement screens. It has threaded female connectors for the inlet and out which accommodate flexible pipe with an elbow and 2 straight fittings. You can also buy adapters to fit 3/4" hoses. The threaded connection on the pump comes shipped with plastic protection caps, as seen in the still images. It is a diagram pump and it has some vibration. However, it has rubber vibration absorbers where it gets screwed into the RV. An additional rubber base could be used to provide even more abortion. Where it's placed is another factor. I had one in a tiny travel trailer once, and it was mounted under the sofa, which wasn't ideal, but even that was fine because I ran it so little; this unit will be installed under the floor in an outside compartment. Often, I would be connected to city water at a campsite, so I didn't use the pump that often. I will install this pump in our Class C RV, which needs a replacement for its broken pump. This is a straightforward, simple project on this RV; I have installed these in the past. This pump seems to be in the same decimal range as any I have ever used over the years. I also use this type of pump for waste disposal as an inline pump, after employing a macerator for long runs to ensure everything flows properly into our waste system when cleaning the tanks. I had zero issues, and I had it set up in minutes with no preparation for this demonstration. I will install it properly. I have no hesitation recommending this pump and I would never want to steer any fellow RVers in the wrong direction. We depend on these pumps. I'm building a custom trailer and I will also install one of these for that project. Happy trails to you! ... show more

As other reviewers have stated, some of the marketing on the page say it's a macerator pump - it is not. I replaced my working older RV water pressure pump with this one, Man, this thing rocks! It has a lot more pressure and I am impressed. I guess my older pump was past its prime (hehe- see what I did there...) and was needing to be retired. I'm happy with this one. I'm using whis with an IBC tank to pressurize water for a utility sink in ky remote barn. It works fairly quietly and self primes every time. I like the flexibility of connections I can make with this. And the amount of water pressure is more than my jet pump driven water well produces at 50PSI. So im guessing this is around 70psi. I have it connected to a 12v 200Ah battery that is recharged via 500w of solar. But it doesn't seem to use much power at all. I'll be sure to update if things change. ... show more

If you have had any kind of extended experience with camping, particularly in a camper, and in an environment, winterize the unit, you know that one of the weak points, one of the first things to go is your freshwater pump. Invariably sooner or later for one reason or another, you will need to replace your water pump if you keep your camper for a number of years. Sometimes it's because there was just a little bit of moisture left behind when you winterize, sometimes quite frankly it's just time and use that wears them out. If your water pump is waking you up in the middle of the night when nobody is using water it's time to replace it. I have seen my fair share of water pumps. This is a very good one. It works every bit as well as the name-brand pump it replaced, perhaps a little better. It's a good deal too, so I will likely order another for the backup. I try to always have one on hand as a backup. They all get called in to service eventually! ... show more

This is a great replacement pump for the camper. It has pretty good flow and pressure. Decent enough for a camper. There is always that fine balance between flow/pressure and conservation. Our irrigation system is sensitive to low pressure. I added this Magam 12VDC pump 3 hours ago (along with a pressure tank) and it is maintaining 60 psi nonstop. Perfect. I'm pulling over 2 gpm without issue. Very happy. Great value.
