Old power supply started being intermittent, then got to where the power supply boot push button switch had no effect. Couldn't boot. For this power supply, next day delivery vs 10 days and more expensive from Dell. Easy install, about 10 minutes, including comparing all cables. For this, replaced a Dell D460AM-03 with this D460AM-01. All connectors match, except P2 (as marked on the old power supply cable, goes to the CPU) can split into two 4-pin connectors. I left it as a combined 8 pin connector, and plugged it onto the system board with 4 pins hanging over on one side. All other connectors are perfect match (some wire colors tweak a bit, such as, was white, is yellow). Very happy. Will update this review if there's any reason to. ... show more

Installed easily in my 6 year old Dell tower, has all the right connectors. All voltages were well within specs, only occasionally hear one of it's fans, when I'm pushing the system hard.

I got this for my Dell 8930 and fits perfectly. The cpu power cable on my original power supply had a 4 slot plug and this came with a 6 slot plug. The plug fits with 2 slots over the side.
