The “Fire Extinguisher-13B 620ml for Home, Car Fire Extinguisher with Mount, Portable Fire Extinguisher” is rated A, B, C, and K. It is a multiple-purpose fire extinguisher. It can be used on wood paper clothes. Flammables like gasoline. Electrical fires and cooking grease fires. The extinguishing agent is S-6-AB. It is a wetting agent, flame retardant, surfactant, penetrant, antifreeze. It is highly efficient, environmentally friendly, and 100% biodegradable. This is an excellent extinguisher to keep around the kitchen or in your car. It is small and straightforward to use. The black plastic pin is securely fastened so as not to fall out prematurely. A tug pulls it out, and then you press the red lever on top. Instructions are on the side so anyone can figure it out. From a safe distance of six and a half feet, be sure to aim at the base of the fire, which sweeps back and forth. Everyone should have at least one fire extinguisher. Most fires start in the kitchen, so you want it to be in an accessible place where you can reach it easily if your stove is on fire.

These fire extinguishers say that they are applicable to (1) ordinary combustibles (e.g., wood, paper, clothes), (2) flammable liquid (e.g., gasoline), (3) charged electrical fires (live line < 36KV) and (4) grease cooking fires. So, it sounds pretty universal for anything I am going to encounter in my home. I did mount one in the basement so I could have a chance to firefight my way out of the basement should I be down there when a fire starts. I mounted one in the garage and the final one is in the car. Obviously, I hope I never have to test these in a real fire, but I will update the review should I ever have to use this. These fire extinguishers have a 4-year shelf life. This review is being written in May of 2024 and on the bottom of the fire extinguisher is typed “MFG:04/02/2024 EXP:04/01/2028”. So, my extinguishers will last about 46 months for me. There is no indication on the box of the expiration date, so you have to open the box to determine the date the extinguisher will expire. You throw these away after they expire (they are not refillable). The only thing in the box is the fire extinguisher and the mounting bracket. There are no screws in the package. So, your choices for mounting it are some kind of double sided tape or screws that you provide. I double check with the vendor and he confirmed that there was no packaging mistake. I personally find that problematic because you may find yourself having to drive to the hardware store and buy one of those $1.38 packages of screws. So, you have time and gas required to be able to mount this, if you don’t happen to already have screws that fit the holes already in the plastic bracket. Since the fire extinguishers should handle just about any type of fire I will encounter and there are 3 of them in the package, I would normally give this product five stars. But because there is no complete way to mount the fire extinguishers included in the package, I am going to deduct one star in my rating.

You won't need them = until you NEED them, I noticed the ease of deployment, quickly pull from the holder, pull the clip lock off the top, and press the lever. Time is extra important when something or someone is on fire. Handy that these have a range of fire types covered. Previously we would need two or even three different canisters for different types of fire, this on covers; A, B, C, & K fire types.

Every home should have some sort of fire extinguisher for the hopefully never to happen emergency. I like these for their compact size (height 11.4 in,Width 2.4 in,620ml.) and because they come as a four pack. All have brackets for wall attachment. One under the sink in the kitchen, one in the garage, one in the car and one wall mounted in a easily accessed closet upstairs. The maker says they have a 13 foot spray distance and that they are suitable for a variety of fire types with a water based non-toxic and biodegradable formula deterrent/extinguisher. An important addition to any home.

This is a hard review to write. How do you review a fire extinguisher? The proof will be in the pudding if you ever have to use it and you won't know until you have to use it. It got here quick. I like the fact that it has instructions on the extinguisher itself on how to use it. It is of good enough size that it will put out a small fire and I've put it in the kitchen for that purpose. It fits well right under the kitchen sink. It seems well made and clearly has safety features.
