I have been purchasing after market Dewalt batteries for 5 years , never had an issue. I have got over 50 cycles on some of my older Batteries. This particular brand still holding up well.

I bought this as a replacement for the expensive Dewalt batteries. They charge in the standard Dewalt charger, and operate with no issues. They fit well, and the level indicator is a plus. The big drawback is battery life. I expect these to last longer than the 5Ah Dewalt batteries, it should approach 1.5 times the life. At full charge, when used in a Dewalt leaf blower, they last about 1/2 to 2/3 as long as the standard 5Ah battery. At the price point it makes sense, that's why I rated it "good" as oppose to "poor," but it definitely is nowhere near 7Ah, or even 5. Still, two at this price point is a good bargain, since two of these last about as long as a single 5Ah battery at half the price. ... show more
