I bought this 4K digital camera about 4 weeks ago so I could have a dedicated camera for my vlog. It has a blend of vintage aesthetics and modern technology. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the stylish leather carrying case which visually sets this camera apart from anything other modern cameras I’ve seen recently around this price point. Since the camera offers a unique combination of manual and automatic features, making it versatile for both amateur and experienced photographers, it was a good choice for me with my intermediate skills. The Viewfinder and 16X Zoom with Autofocus make it easy for a non-professional photographer (like me) to easily snap pics. With 48MP it’s more than enough to make my vlogging footage standout, plus it being point and shoot makes it’s super easy to use for non-techie content creators. The camera comes with a drawstring protective pouch, a lanyard, a 32G card, 2 batteries, and a convenient USB cable for charging, which is handy when I’m on-the-go or I haven’t charged the backup battery. A 32G SD Card is provided so you can unbox this camera quickly and be ready to go! It camera has a HD, USB Type-C, and Mic input ports, perfect for capturing high-quality audio and video. The lightweight design makes it a travel-friendly companion. It won’t add unnecessary weight to your bag, allowing you to take it with you wherever you go. While it’s marketed as an excellent choice for vlogging, it’s worth noting that it lacks Wi-Fi capability. This means you’ll need a way to transfer your media off the SD card to a laptop, tablet, PC, Mac, or phone. Fortunately, there are various options available, including cables and adapters. Personally, I use an adapter that resembles a jump drive, connecting it to my iPhone and utilizing the SD slot for seamless transfers. Despite the absence of Wi-Fi connectivity, this camera shines in terms of its software and hardware. It offers a ton of filters, modes, and settings, catering to different photography styles and preferences. Additionally, it features a mounting connection point on the bottom on of the camera and the leather case (a design I haven’t seen with other digital cameras). Most notably for me is this camera provides separation from your phone. It serves as a dedicated device allowing me to focus solely on photography or videography without distractions. I decided to give this camera a try since it was a less expensive option than others out there. I first have to say that this bundle includes everything you need. It comes with a very nice leather case and a lens cap. A micro SD card is included, 2 batteries, neck straps, and even a HDMI cable. So basically you couldn't get a better bundle for the price. Both batteries charge fast and setup was extremely simple. So why did I want this? Well I have found that a dedicated camera pretty much always takes better pictures than my phone, so it is nice to have a good camera for going on vacation or taking pictures of things that I care about. The camera is all plastic, but looks very nice and I haven't had any concerns with durability. It has a built in flash, but also had a place to add a flash if needed. I also love that this camera has a view-finder so during the brighter days I can look through it to take a picture. The controls are intuitive and there is the familiar dial that is used to switch between the common settings. It has some fun settings like slow mo and time lapse recording. One setting that is very unique is the motion detection feature. This will record 5 seconds of video based on the motion that occurs, which is pretty cool. The battery lasts a while and all other settings are easy to set. Another thing I was surprised with is macro. You can get pretty close to objects without using zoom to take some nice close up pictures. There is one main negative I would mention. The time to take a picture is a little slow, so if you are trying to take a picture of something fast moving it might be a little harder to get. There is a multi-photo feature which does a burst of about 3-4 shots which can help, but I wish it was a little more responsive. This is not something that is a huge deal since most of the pictures I am taking are not fast moving, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Overall I would recommend this camera for a beginner or someone who just wants to take photos that are better than a phone camera.
