10-16-22 Good light for sale prices. Will update with use. 1-7-23 UPDATE: Still at 3 stars and I've run a full grow cycle and have bought 3 of these now. I paid from 167 to no more than 207 USD each throughout 2022. On sale for 180 at this time of review, I would recommend this to anyone wanting a "cheap decent light" or people just starting with leds and growing to learn and upgrade later. These leds work well and can grow healthy plants, they also have enough power to over do it. Each fixture has a bit more or less wattage draw from factory driver setting, up to 424watts out of the box. The 400w driver is over driven to 420w showing a poor sales strategy to burn out the light faster and advertise a higher PFD score, in my opinion. Be cautious when operating at high power and keep an eye on wire connections, the boards and driver get hot and radiate but won't burn skin. The third OPPRUI 420w light I bought had issues out of the box, it would only pull max 136 watts from any outlet with all diodes working, perfect for seedlings but not what I paid for. Amazon was quick to replace it but with a no name brand 400watt light that is a knock off of this knock off, same boards and led layout but different style dimmer, driver and cheap mounting bracket, bent metal and scratched all over, just obliviously cheaper but truly works just as well. I also tried a LGecon Lg4200 that is essentially the same as the OPPRUI PL4200 with a different driver, bracket and a longer dimmer cord. All the 420w leds I've gotten have the same thin aluminum boards and Seoul diodes, OPPRUI being the best looking quality out of the box. Wondering where I can get this no name brand? Happy growing!

Great light and a great value, so long as you keep an eye on the price. We managed to get one of the three we've purchased for $169. Paid $199 and $209 for the others. Would still be good at $399, but if you see it at that price and wait a day or three...it will probably drop. The price of this light is all over the place. Edit: After having an issue with the power driver on this unit, they have already shipped me a new power supply and tracking number. Super happy with their customer service and response. I have since purchased a 4th light. Edit again: They did not ship a new power supply, they shipped me an ENTIRE NEW KIT. Power supply, light panels and accessories. They couldn't have been easier to deal with. Fantastic support!

Light worked awesome tan it for a grow cycle of 3 months went to start a new grow lights worked then just stopped working would dim all way down on its own n flicker 4 weeks into grow and now it’s all crap. Can’t contact seller as it won’t allow me.. but it’s a good light for a short grow but will need to replace purchased in may 2022 used just over 3 months and now it’s going into to recycle bin.

eh.....not gonna hate. seems to do the job. jus using in veg room right now. after this crop is done i will move it to flower room and see how it does........boards get hot af too. not the ballast itself tho. ballast connects two boards together into one fixture. boards are slightly curved. i would say from an uneven stack of aluminum boards sitting somewhere in a shop. only things i dont like are that the boards are slightly curved, and not by design, and also the fact that they get hot to the touch. compared to other lights their aluminum heat sink is too thin. will update

Bought this light in July of 22 and it worked really well right up until it stopped turning on. I emailed support and they responded almost immediately and offered a huge discount on the newer model. I really only wanted the LED driver replaced but I'm good with their solution. It was very generous and this way I didn't have to pay to ship it back, etc.... The instruction manual says for parts go to the website. The 2 different sites they list are not valid. I emailed customer support and they don't sell parts. That was very frustrating. I can find very little online about this company or a replacement LED driver. Time will tell if the new one holds up. It's very bright and the plants thrived under it - good harvest. I was impressed with the customer service I received, but didn't get all the answers i wanted/expected.

Great light. I seen the sale, and decided to take the risk and buy. It is pretty nice! Really bright. I replaced a 315 cmh, and another LED for this one, and it is brighter than both of those together. Seems to have roughly a foot deeper penetration than those two other lights did as well. All and all, really nice, especially for the value.

Bought 1st one 6 months ago they have made improvements in just that short of a time. Great light, would highly recommend just look for coupon code that reduces price by about 50%.
