Fit perfect into my Treager smoker which was purchased in 2012. The build quality is excellent and the price is much cheaper than getting the OEM part. Replacing the motor was fairly easy with the exception of finding an Alan wrench that fit the set screw. The fan does not make any noise.

I have a Pit Boss smoker that I am horrible about removing the unused pellets after smoking something and mine stays out in the weather. I have to labor to remove all of the swollen and hardened old pellets and it is a pain in the rear. The last time I had to clean out all of the old pellets, I noticed the auger stopped spinning after only a few seconds. I removed the motor and auger to test it without being in the auger tube just to make sure there wasn't anything in the tube obstructing the auger from turning. That wasn't the case, it still would barely turn before locking up again. I removed the gear cover from the motor and discovered several broken teeth on a couple of the gears. I was about to just put the smoker on the curb for the garbage men to pick up when I decided to do a quick search for a replacement motor on Amazon. Lo and behold I found exactly what I needed and it had next day delivery to boot. I ordered it and received it the next morning and the new motor looked exactly like the old one. It fit perfectly and runs flawlessly. I'm so glad that I took the time to look for a replacement motor instead of throwing away an otherwise perfectly good $500 smoker.

Installed easily and plug and play as stated. It works great and not sure yet if I'd say it's faster. If it is, I can't tell. Seems beefy except I was surprised that the wires were not as thick as factory installed motor wires from factory 20 gauge to 18 Gauge. Maybe that's where they saved on manufacturing costs? Other than the wire issue, I have no other comments. Hopefully it holds up to the time the original lasted which has been about 8 years with almost weekly use with my Traeger. Smoke on!

My auger motor went out of my Camp Chef Smoker. In searching thru Amazon, I found this generic auger motor which is designed for varying pellet smokers, and the price is less than half the price of the name brand auger motor, so I purchased it, and glad I did. In installing it, I slid it on the auger, and put a pin in it that I got at a hardware store for twenty cents. It was easy to do, and so happy I did not need to buy a new pellet smoker. Just so you know, there were no written instructions- you simply put it on the same way it came off, so it's pretty much self explanatory just by looking at it. Pretty easy.
