This is a great little keyboard to use for just about any computing device and to travel with. The upgraded version is supposed to be USB C but Amazon in the US is still sending out the old Micro USB units, I even got a replacement and it too was Micro. To get the real upgraded one with USB C I had to order from Amazon UK. In 2023, everything I get I only want USB C so I had to send them back as I do not want to incorporate a single micro usb into my to go bag this late in time. Update I received my Rii i4 from Amazon UK to the US and it is indeed USB C. Order from Amazon.co.uk for the USB C version. As Amazon US still sends out the ancient Micro B version. ... show more

    • Mini keyboard is the perfect solution
For the last couple of years I've been using mini-computers attached to my non-smart televisions for streaming content. Works like a dream and I don't pay any services or have a smart TV snooping and selling my personal info or insisting on apps and channels that I don't want. If programming can be watched online, I can watch it, and you'd be surprised how much free content there is out there. I do have a few subscriptions for specific content I consider worth paying for. But since the mini-computers need a mouse and keyboard - neither of which do I want laying around in my family room - I needed something small with those device's capabilities. This is it! Nicely compact; touch-pad for mousing; and full keyboard for typing web addresses, logins, or whatever. It connects easily (automatically after the first time) with the Bluetooth mini-computers. Another big plus is a rechargeable battery that lasts a long time and charges quickly. It doesn't look obnoxious on the coffee table and has replaced all but one of my remotes. ... show more

    • It’s not perfect, but it works.
I decided to purchase this keyboard because my newborn daughter likes to take naps on my chest. When she’s sleeping, I’m unable to use my mouse and keyboard. This, I thought, would be the happy medium: I’d have a keyboard and mouse in hand, and I can still support my daughter while she sleeps. And it works for the most part. Overall, the keyboard is ergonomically, especially with my larger-than-average hands (I was concerned that the keyboard would be too small for my hands, but it works great). The keyboard is responsive, tactile. Though, I haven’t been able to achieve more than about 16 words per minute while typing, which is slow compared to my high-90s on a full keyboard. But it’s better than no keyboard at all. It’s maybe slightly slower than you typing on your smartphone, but the physical keyboards make the typing more accurate and enjoyable. The touchpad works well for a device that’s around $30. Two finger scroll is great (and I also easily enjoy the thumb wheel). The tap-to-click feature is a little too sensitive for my liking, and there don’t seem to be a way to turn it off. The keyboard has two shoulder buttons, the left for left-click and the right right for right-click, which I prefer to use the most. I’ve used both the wireless receiver and Bluetooth connection. There is slightly more latency with the Bluetooth receiver, but nothing that you would notice unless you being extremely nit picky. If you’re looking for a device to type in movie names or do quick text inputs. This is your device. If you’re looking to write essays, this isn’t your keyboard, but I don’t think any handheld keyboard on the market is designed to do just that. ... show more

    • Great product, not great for small hands.
The media could not be loaded. It’s a quality little keyboard. Everything works as it should. I don’t like that there’s no grooves on the middle row so you know where your fingers are without looking, but otherwise, works great. Problem is, this thing is definitely made for a man’s hands. If I put my palms on it, the way that you would typically hold a controller, I can’t reach the middle buttons. I have to move my fingers the whole way to the center, and hold it awkwardly to reach the middle buttons. I just ordered the smaller version, hopefully that solves the problem. Will probably be returning this, though. The whole “ergonomic industry” seems to be designed for men. This isn’t the first time I’ve had to return a product because it’s just too big for a woman’s hands. Sort of frustrating honestly. It is a good product though. ... show more

I really like the device. I use it on a pc, iPhone, and android tablet. I work from home and it’s nice to have something small to type and work from my pc or a tablet. On IOS, it requires you to turn on the touch option within the accessibility settings. You also have to change some settings within there to get some features to work. It works well with an android tablet and doesn’t require you to make any changes. I used it 3 days straight pretty heavily and it didn’t require a recharge. I’m happy with the product. I had to get used to the size of the space bar. Some other review said that they were typing the other key next to it with their right thumb. Picked up this thing for $25 with pretty low expectations and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I'm using it for tinkering on my Steam Deck. Great for setting up emulators in desktop mode, or changing overclock settings in the bios due to having an included USB dongle. It's lightweight. Tactile buttons feel pretty good on this unit. I love the placement of the circular directional pad. Very convenient for navigating the deck. Trackpad is actually usable which low-key blew my mind.
