Not suitable for a trans cooler.I have other evil energy products but the inlet on this is very restrictive. It was listed as compatible with my vehicle and it wasn't I learned and moved on now the quality is top notch as with most of the products they offer i mean in no way to steer you away but if your going to use this for a truck dont itll work as a motor oil cooler but not for the transmission.

Overall, it's probably still worth it because of how cheap it is while having decent quality, but of 4 included hose clamps 2 were binding so badly from burrs/manufacturing detritus that I had to order some slightly better ones that I could actually close around the hoses. Also, whose idea was it to have a round push-through ziptie? Flat with a square washer/other end would have damaged my AC condenser fins less, and the washer would have actually fit on the end of the radiator (6-pass has too small a lip for the diameter of the locking tab, so your zipties are perma-crooked). Great hose quality though, good fit on the barbs (if a bit snug) and has a nice lining to help prevent rips or leaks. Used on 2011 Nissan Sentra (mounted front-top of AC condenser) in conjunction with the trans cooler adapter to keep the 177k mile CVT alive.

Damn good cooler, flows well , fins and tubes are spaced properly but what I really liked was that they give you more than enough quality hose to put it wherever you want. I drive obs gmt400 trucks have almost every flavor but I mount mine in passenger inner fender where the factory air breather draws from.i took that ol z71 and stomped a mud hole dry and the transmission fluid never got above 180 ° the 8 row would be a great for tow rigs definitely going to buy a few more.

Installation was easy. My original unit had developed a leak, and on my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the transmission cooler is integrated with the A/C condenser, which makes replacement more complicated and expensive—but it’s fairly easy to bypass. I picked up higher-quality hose clamps from the auto parts store and doubled up on all four fittings (two per connection) to make sure there were no leaks. So far, everything is holding up great.
