  • Read a comment suggesting that OE parts aren't that good. I respectfully have to disagree
After 23 years I needed to replace one oil cooler line on my 95 K1500 that had developed a slight leak. So while at it, I changed them both along with the connectors.Could have take shortcuts, but did not want to. Read a comment suggesting that OE parts aren't that good. I respectfully have to disagree, with this one anyway. All parts arrived quickly and undamaged. These parts were identical to the parts I removed so the installation could not have been any easier. The only part I questioned was the O ring but that seems to have been unnecessary. Lines and Connectors have been installed for a few months and no problems so far. If any develop I will amend my review. The other part was AC Delco #12472278. Hopefully the new parts will last as long and the Originals. Only time will tell. ... show more

  • Worked great on 95 silverado k1500 w/6.7L engine.
Worked perfectly on a 95 silverado k1500 Z71. Fairly easy changeout except the connector to the radiator uses a 20mm wrench. Who has one of those?! Used an adjustable wrench and it worked fine after taking off the smog can. I used the Dorman connectors to connect the other ends to the oil filter housing. Don't try to use your old ones. Those are a bear to get a wrench on with a 4wd truck with the differential there. I took the filter housing off and it was much easier. If you have to do that, order a fel-pro gasket set (not a universal gasket set) for the filter housing as you will probably trash the gasket taking it off, and get a new oil filter since you will have to take that off too.. ... show more

  • Better to replace the quick release adapters while you're in there.

  • Works like new again
works as good as new on my 95 k1500. just be sure to tighten the lines at the radiator really good to prevent leakage. Like the extra fittings, but for mine i didnt use them. As far as longevity, I cant say. Just installed them few weeks ago.

  • good deal
These were way cheaper than the dealer for GM parts, and just a little more than after market. I had after market and they work for a while, but started to leak. My GM mechanic said they were good and a great price.
