This is a great tool for using with wire fences! My husband tested this out while installing goat fencing on our property's perimeter and said that it worked well for securing fence ties onto T-posts. It's small enough to where it's easier to use than channel locks for securing the fence around the smaller holes at the bottom. However, he also says that it performs far better with a small gauge wire and would be perfect for using with barbed wire. His only con on this is that it doesn't get fence ties as tight as he likes to secure them. Overall, this is a good little tool for securing wire fencing!

we are building our chain link fence in our back yard and I saw this tool. It has helped us to build it faster. this tool allowed us to twist the wire lines to make the fence sturdy and strong. We finished a section that would have taken us 4 hours to finish, but with the tool it only took us a little under 2 hours. The product is built from a thick strong metal and can be used for different gauge thickness wires.

I was excited for this tool, but very underwhelmed by its usefulness. I used it to install a heavy gauge goat fencing in 30 degree weather, on par for the Northeast. I found the tool cumbersome to use and way too small to get the leverage to bend a heavy gauge wire. Maybe I was a novice, but it kept slipping off the fencing wire and I was wishing it had a sharper curl on the bottom to keep it from slipping. In the cold weather I found myself longing for a good old set of pliers! I could see it has a use for a lighter gauge wire that bends easier like a garden fencing (and having warmer weather where my hands could negotiate the small tool size might help as well). For now though, I think I'll stick with a good set of pliers!

Oh how I wish I would have had this tool two years ago when we put up about half a mile of barbed wire fence. But I have it now and it will be great when we need to replace T Posts or the barbed wire. I haven't had to use it yet, but it is very sturdy and looks like it will work great. There are different sized holes and several notches, which I appreciate because I'm left handed and a lot of things you buy don't work for left handed people.

So simple to use once you get the hang of it. I'm using them to twist T post clips. I have one of those fancier style clip spinner that pivots bla bla bla. It wont even be a backup. These are easier with 4x4 spaced fence than 2x4, especially if you have larger hands.

This shines when you have to make your own T post retainers vs using the preformed one . It does look cleaner then when using a pair of pliers and is small enough to throw in the tool box , I keep mine with the fencing supplies . Tool is very sturdy
