Bought this netting in the spring of 2022 to stop the swallows from nesting in the rafters of my carport. Price seemed right for the size and the reviews of the durability were good. However, when I received the netting I found it almost impossible to spread it out evenly. With some extra helpers it would have been much easier, but on my own it was very hard. I finally just started tacking it up in the rafters and stretching it as I went, and even that took a couple of tries to get it up evenly. Once I got it up, it did it's job perfectly and I never had a problem with the birds this year. It is very strong and takes a lot of stretching without breaking, so I will just leave it up and see how it holds up over time. Bought this as a last resort to stop Birds from Nesting in my Front Porch Wreath(s). It works! The Birds have moved on after having the Netting on the Wreath for One (1) Day!! The Wreath has bright colors and the Netting can't be seen from the Street ... only the Flowers. Ps: No more cleaning up my Front Porch Window from Bird Feces that drops out of Wreaths in past years. A bird got stuck! I put this on my patio to keep my cat from going between the railing and jumping down and running away. A sparrow got all tangled up and hung there for hours until I arrived home and thankfully saw it. It took me about half an hour to manage to cut the poor thing free- it was all around its neck too. Thankfully it flew away, but I'm never taking that chance with a bird getting stuck and possibly dying next time! Nothing the fence manufacturer could change, and the fencing was good other than birds easily get tangled in this type. It was surprisingly durable and the right amount for my project, and affordable and flexible too. ... show more
