I bought this UNP 6-Person SUV Tent for our family camping trip, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a tent that’s roomy, easy to set up, and gives you the flexibility of using your SUV as extra space, this one is a winner. Spacious & Comfortable The interior is genuinely roomy—10x9 feet with a tall 78” center height. I could stand comfortably to change clothes, and we easily fit two air mattresses. With the kids, this definitely slept 6 comfortably. Great SUV Compatibility The adjustable vehicle sleeve is awesome. It attached securely to the back of our SUV and didn’t feel flimsy or loose. It basically added an “extra room” to our car, making it perfect for storage or additional sleeping space. Loved how seamless the connection was. Dual-Use Flexibility One of my favorite features is that it works both ways—connected to the SUV or as a standalone tent. This came in handy when we wanted to set it up away from the parking area. Really versatile for camping, festivals, and road trips. Ventilation & Views The mesh windows and mesh top are excellent. This SUV tent was an awesome purchase and worked perfectly for our camping trip. It attached easily and securely to the back of my Chevy Traverse and lined up great with the tailgate. The tent is roomy and gave us plenty of space for extra gear storage and a private changing area, which was a huge bonus and made the whole setup feel so much more comfortable. It really helped keep the car organized and gave us extra living space without feeling cramped. It was easy to set up, easy to attach to the vehicle, and the quality feels really solid. The material and zippers feel durable and it held up great. Overall, I am super happy with this tent and would definitely recommend it if you want extra space and a clean setup for car camping.

I bought this tent back in the early spring for a camping trip in July. As a 65+ woman who does a lot of solo camping, I was a little bit concerned about how easy it would be to set up. Hubby & I did a couple of dry runs in the backyard before I left on my trip. While there was a small challenge bending the main support pole to get it to slide into the pocket, I was eventually able to do it all by myself. The tent itself was very nice for how I wanted to use it. Because I was planning to left my campsite frequently, I opted not to hook it up to my Santa Fe's tailgate. This made it easier to come & go, but also created a bit of a mess the couple of days we had a lot of rain. Live & learn . . . I just needed to be sure to shake it out after it rained. Yes the nylon and net windows are pretty thin. I had a raccoon try to get inside one night. It jumped up onto the sidewall of the tent, collapsing it on one side and punching several holes in the window netting. Initially I thought they were cigarette burns but later realized it for what it was . . . a critter trying to get in. Taking the tent down and packing it away was much easier than setting it up. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this tent and will use it again on future camping trips when I'm planning to stay put for at least 3-5 nights. P.S. I should note that I car camp, sleeping in my SUV and not in this tent. That said, there is plenty of space for a couple of cots/sleeping bags if that is your preferred way to camp/sleep.

I bought this tent for an upcoming camping trip with my son. It'll be wonderful to have so much space for our gear and my son's sleeping area (I sleep on a cot in my tailgate). It's lightweight, packs up small, easy to put up, and it's tall enough for my 6'2" son to stand comfortably. It also seems very well made, especially since the price point was so good. We did a test run in my yard (photo included) on my Bronco Sport. We didn't test the rain fly because it's so dry where we live, but I can say that it did great in the strong winds up here. We left it up overnight to see how it handled. It didn't budge! It would have been great to have clear instructions, but we figured it out intuitively. It was simple and quick to put up and attach to the truck. We put it up together but I was able to take it down by myself (I'm 4'11", so that should illustrate how easy/light it is). It packs up nicely in its bag for easy packing and storage. Note about photo: my tailgate was closed, so the connector looks saggy. It was nice and taut while the truck was open. We love that we'll be able to detach the truck from the tent to go exploring and the tent closes up like a regular one. 10/10 recommend

I waited a year to review this after using it a couple of times. This is easy to set up; you can do it by yourself, but it's easier with 2 people. This past weekend, it poured rain, and this tent stayed dry! Make sure you put on the rain fly before you set it all the way up, or it's a pain to reach (still didn't get it quite right this time as in the pic, but next time i'll get it on right). I have not quite figured out how to attach it to my rims, but I haven't tried, it works fine just pulled up over the back of my Chevy Equinox. It's also easy to pull away from it if you need to use your vehicle, and easy to put back on. We had a full-size mattress on one side and a cot on the other and there was plenty of room in between and room enough for our bags, clothes, etc.

I love this tent. It was my first car tent and my first outdoor adventure, and it was very easy to set up, use, and pack away. Once home, it was easy to dry out after condensation, and the size was just right. There were only two minor issues: a small puncture on the bottom from walking on it, likely caused by something underneath, and a slight rip in a strap when inserting a pole. Both seem manageable, and I expect it will still hold up. I love the windows, door access, and how well it fit around my Hyundai Santa Fe. The interior details were great too plenty of spots to hang lights and a handy overhead pocket for small items.

I’ve used this twice, once with a car and once without. Single person, camping in the tent is spacious either way. Be sure to check how your car deals with having the back open for the duration you use the tent. The battery on my 2020 Subaru Forester died, but was lucky enough to have friends that could jump it and get me back on the road. The biggest drawback is when not using the car. There is no effective way to completely tie up the part of the tent that ties to the car. This time, of course, it rained buckets, and I had several pools of water weighing down the back of the tent. Pretty easy set up, but they could put a finger-pull tab in the short pole pocket to help get it in easier. Some of the zippers are a little widgy, but do work. Overall really like the tent.
