Totally in love with this tent it was super easy 30 minutes set up 30 minutes to tear it down take your time and do it right it fits perfectly back in the bag had a little bit of the struggle with attaching it to the car but I did a preset up so now I understand LOL can be a little difficult putting it to the car by yourself but if you open your back doors and stand on the ledge you should have no problems can't wait to go camping it fit my Kia Sportage with a trailer hitch perfectly ... show more

It’s so easy to set up. It’s huge inside, plenty of room for your gear! We did not expect to love it, living in Florida there are so many nasty bugs! The screens in this keep them out! I set it up to clean the pollen and get the sand out, rinsed it all with the hose and it is dry inside!

I spent many weeks researching the market for the right Tailgate SUV Tent for me and guess what! I found it and proved it during a 2 week trip to the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales UK. The Tent and I endured heavy rain, snow, heavy winds, even some occasional sunshine but all was well. Just one small point, rain water did congregate in the lower part of the tent joining section to my Jeep Grand Cherokee so I did make a small hole in the material for it to drain away and it was all outside of the tent anyway. Big Plus, I'm 73 years young and travel alone but the UNP SUV Tent was so simple to set up and take down even on my own, It took no more than 20 minutes and I was ready to put the kettle on. Conclusion: The UNP SUV Tent performed very well indeed and I am looking forward to my next trip, perhaps in the British summer ... show more

Got this tent on sale and for the money, you won’t find a better SUV Tent out there. I took the tent out this past weekend for an overnight test. Setup was a breeze and it hooked up to our 21 Jeep Grand Cherokee without any issues! The seams are double stitched and the zippers are good quality. It didn’t rain so I can’t attest to anything water wise. It was pretty windy when we set it up. We had to put the rain bonnet on so we could utilize the tie downs. Otherwise the wind kept blowing the corner poles inward. Great tent! Would highly recommend ! ... show more

I decided to purchase this tent for my Tesla Y after seeing many positive comments on Amazon. I later learned that the selected reviewers are mostly from a program called Amazon Vine, who provide their "objective" feedback for using the products for free. Although I have not had a chance to use this tent, I recently did a "test run" in my driveway to see how it works. Upon unboxing, I already found a couple problems with the scratches on the poles (the elastic inside poles seem weak) and the tent materials, specifically the flooring part (already shows signs it may rip/tear easily). I don't think I can exchange it at this point because I already went past the 30 days return policy due to my busy schedule. In any case, I hope I didn't waste my money on this tent. Time will tell once I have a chance to use it. The quality does not seem that great. However, it seems descent for the price. I really want to keep it because it is very roomy yet compact in a carry case. The instructions were very easy to follow as they are printed inside the carry bag. I was going to recommend to several other Tesla owners (friends and family), but I am reluctant at this point. I'm hoping it will hold up once I get to use it. ... show more

This tent sets up like a normal tent, but it has a special tunnel that will connect to the back of an SUV. The instructions on how to attach it to the SUV are not very clear. It is all one run-on sentence and doesn't make a lot of sense. The webbing gets attached through the wheels of the car to hold it in place. There are then other pieces of webbing that can be secured by the car door or attached to a roof rack if you have one. We attached ours to the roof rack. The tunnel between the tent and the car has gathered elastic to help hold it snug against the car along with reinforced sections at the points where it will come in contact with the car. On the inside of the tent, there is a double window between the tent and the tunnel to the car. This is a nice tent and would give a little extra space by attaching it to the back of the vehicle, especially if you have an inflatable air mattress you want to use to sleep in the back of the car. The tent has all of the typical features that you would expect, including a port for an electrical cord. When putting the rainfly on the tent, the branding goes over the sides of the tent not over the door or the tunnel. ... show more
