I appreciate the cost for the phone I picked out having such a great reputation and quality functions. Unfortunately, I had a problem with the phone and if I was in a different situation, not dealing with caregivers, nurses, doctors, PT"s making appointments constantly every week for my 93 year old mother's condition, I would not have been so upset. I wanted to pick out another phone, but I really liked the Galaxy J42 5G. Once the Amazon Representative, caught wind of that, Amazon convinced me to return the phone and have it replaced by the same seller. Amazon told me to think about giving the seller another chance to make it right. It is so important to have a way of communicating with mother's condition, I was not sure I could wait for the replacement phone delivery and what if I had a problem again. I agreed with Amazon and confirmed I would send back the phone immediately and wait for new phone. Amazon said to me that they would take 100% responsibility if the I had a problem with the phone. I saw that the new phone was ordered and shipped before they received the first phone. I am so glad I waited. I love the phone. And, when I went to plug in to charge, it showed 95% charged, which I smiled knowing before the phone was sent, someone made sure I would be happy. I put in my sim card and never had to set-up carrier information. It worked instantly and I have not had any problems and I am enjoying the connection, the speed of the phone, the touch of the phone. The phone works great. It was unlocked and my sim card worked with no problems. I was able to easily copy my data from my other samsung phone. The battery is slow charging, but the phone is fast. It's beautiful, tall, and comfortable in my hand. I purchased the by all three screen protection, phone case, and phone. The Screen protection was easy to install. I cleaned it with the alcohol pad, held it by the sides, carefully aligned the top under the camera and let it drop. I used the cloth it came with to slowly swipe from side to side starting at the top, then swiped down the sides. There is no bubbles and it works great to the touch screen. I give my phone 5 stars. I love the 128 gig storage. I'm very happy with my phone. 🥰 ... show more

    • Potential Scam.
I was under the impression that this phone would be fully unlocked as advertised. It was in fact not. If you plan to buy this, please hope you have the same carrier as the phone. The one I received was still activated by Verizon. I called them and they were unable to deactivate it due to the phone having no account associated with it. I called Amazon and they have absolutely no way or resolving the issue since It's a phone that isn't operated by their company. The seller kept saying that Amazon could deactivate the phone so I could put in my Tmobile sim card, but this was in fact a blatant lie. I had no choice to switch over to a new carrier. I mean-- who would wait two months just to use a phone they just bought? At that point you might as well switch carriers. My previous phone could barely operate, so I had no choice. The phone itself is nice and all but I feel like I deserve to be compensated for all the trouble I had to go through due to the seller's ignorance. This is most likely just a scam. Recieve a phone that might not work for you. Pay possibly more money to switch over to a new cellphone carrier if you have no other choice. This is truly disappointing and I will never recommend buying a single thing from the seller. They should be compensating me for my troubles if anything. ... show more

Just got it in today. The phone is perfect, no thanks to FedEx. He threw it out the side of his truck into the driveway. Thank goodness it wasn't damaged! Maybe look into using UPS or Amazon to fulfill orders, both have much more respect for our products.

This phone seems like it's ok.... when you first receive it. I've had the phone for about a week or so. The fingerprint sensor only works sometimes which makes it a hassle if you're trying to unlock certain apps. The battery life seems likes it's good. Hasn't frozen on me yet seems to work except for the fingerprint. ... show more
