I appreciate the cost for the phone I picked out having such a great reputation and quality functions. Unfortunately, I had a problem with the phone and if I was in a different situation, not dealing with caregivers, nurses, doctors, PT"s making appointments constantly every week for my 93 year old mother's condition, I would not have been so upset. I wanted to pick out another phone, but I really liked the Galaxy J42 5G. Once the Amazon Representative, caught wind of that, Amazon convinced me to return the phone and have it replaced by the same seller. Amazon told me to think about giving the seller another chance to make it right. It is so important to have a way of communicating with mother's condition, I was not sure I could wait for the replacement phone delivery and what if I had a problem again. I agreed with Amazon and confirmed I would send back the phone immediately and wait for new phone. Amazon said to me that they would take 100% responsibility if the I had a problem with the phone. I saw that the new phone was ordered and shipped before they received the first phone. I am so glad I waited. I love the phone. And, when I went to plug in to charge, it showed 95% charged, which I smiled knowing before the phone was sent, someone made sure I would be happy. I put in my sim card and never had to set-up carrier information. It worked instantly and I have not had any problems and I am enjoying the connection, the speed of the phone, the touch of the phone.     • Screen just fell right out of phone šŸ˜³ let you know how I make out.
The gadget deals gave me a poorly renewed phone. I really hope they reimburse me for the full amount since no one has been any help to me except for Amazon telling me just to return it. I spoke to Samsung. They said if thereā€™s something wrong with the screen, we canā€™t take it back. The screen fell out of the phone the weirdest thing ever Iā€™m holding the phone. It never fell. Iā€™m holding it and the screen just falls out. How can it not have any damage? Thatā€™s my question in that case I should be getting a new phone and my money back to be quite honest with you the way Iā€™ve been treated, but Iā€™m also stuck with the case that I bought not that that was that much money but I think Iā€™m being poorly treated if I do not get my full reimbursement back at the least Iā€™ll let you know how I make out. ... show more

    • good phone but no straight talk
first thing: it doesn't work with straight talk. if you put a straight talk sim inside you get text and call, but nothing else will work without wifi, including maps. it's a good working phone, very nice, good display and good sound. fingerprint was frustrating to set up but once done it works but you can only have up to 3. it heats up when charging, but other than that it's a perfectly decent phone and it's worth your money. ... show more

The microphone works intermittently. When it does work, itā€™s fine but when it does not work, I have to borrow a family memberā€™s phone.
