This unit worked perfectly on my kayak to hold my Lowrance transducer. It's easy to manipulate and extends more than enough to reach the water. Mounting was a breeze, I use it every time I'm in the Kayak and so far it's held up perfectly. As a separate note: my kayak was crushed by an enormous limb that fell from one of our trees. The only thing that survived was my fish finder and this awesome transducer mount.

This worked well for my Garmin Striker Vivid 4cv. I was able to mount it on my kayak easily with the supplied track mount and hardware. I like that it's very adjustable.

Received order in a timely manner and it was easy to install on my canoe. The issue is that it was paddling up river when a branch that was floating downstream hooked on the unit and immediately snapped it off. The mounting bracket remained on the canoe but the arm broke off just below the dial to adjust the angle. It appears to me to be a weak spot created by the molding process. Instead on one solid piece it is separated into two thin sections in the exact spot where the most stress is applied by resistance of the passing water or the impact of any floating debris. I was pleased with the item when I received it but was disappointed that it broke on the first hour of the very first time I used it. Having to lift the arm out of the water in order to move the boat defeats the purpose of buying the unit to map the bottom of the river where I fish.

I’m impressed of the quality of this articulating arm. I’m using on my kayak holding a Deeper Pro 2 sonar. This will work just as good as the Scotty brand @$10 cheaper. I was concerned about mounting my Deeper Pro 2 onto it. Went to ACE and bought 2 neoprene 7mm washers . The store only had one 5mm bolt that was a little too long. I spaced the difference with some 1/4” SS washers. The neoprene washers on each end will help keep it from turning. The bolt screwed in nicely. I will find a 5mm SS nut to help lock the bolt from turning.

Well made. Just what I needed. I like this a lot better on my kayak than installing it. My kayak has a place to install the transducer but with this I can take it off, not worry about damage with transport, and move it from one vessel to another.

the bottom arm where transducer fixes to mount. It broke in half first time out. Hit a submerged stump or log snapped in half. Up till then was happy with ease of hooking up and using.
