Its been one season of me transfering fuel from a fuel caddy into my boat. It works good so far. I will say that the fittings and electrical connectiins are very chinese if you know what I mean (cheap).

This thing is awesome! I needed to drain the gas out of my 5 gallon Harley fuel tank and tried the gravity siphoning method, and a couple "bulb" type siphons with no great result. I used my jumper box to power this pump, just attached a couple electrical crimp on terminals I had lying around, and used the cables themselves to power the pump. Worked like a charm. If you're going to try this method, just be sure the cables are not lying on the ground in case the hose jumps out of the gas can you're filling into and dumps gasoline onto the ground (neither confirming nor denying this happening). Once I found the correct container and hose, I just hooked red to pos. and black to neg. and turned the power on. Siphoning took just a couple minutes. I probably won't need to use this again for a while, but for the low cost of this, it worked better than I expected. Great product! ... show more

This is the second one I got. The first one worked for about 3 minutes and then just quit. I gave them another chance and replaced it with another one from them. This one was better. It worked for about 5 minutes. keep in mind, I replaced the entire fuel line, filter, and drained the tank, refilling it with fresh gas. I do NOT recommend buying one of this fuel pumps. Both were delivered on time, but I can't even walk, and had to crawl out there and install this thing twice. I just went to a parts store and bought one, so wish me luck. ... show more
