I bought this little vise mostly for finishing knife handles because it included soft jaw covers. It also seems to stand up well to a moderate amount of abuse (e.g., work holding for drilling and cutting thin metal). The only issue I noticed was the swivel pad on the mounting clamp doesn’t swivel like a c-clamp, which made it difficult to get a good hold on the edge of a bench or table, however that problem was solved after using the included rubber cover pads for the mounting clamp. Other than that, the vise is well constructed and the jaws have very little slop and line up precisely. I would definitely recommend it anyone in need of a light duty clamp-on bench vise.

I have a small workbench with limited space. This works great when you need an extra pair of hands for hobbies, home improvement or as a shooters bench vise. The jaws are spring loaded so they open very easily. The base swivel is a nice addition and works better than a vise with a ball swivel. The jaws are deeply grooved so be careful tightening these even with the included rubber gaskets that go over the clamps.

We needed a table vise, and this one seemed good on Amazon. It's a solid vise, but it was smaller than I expected (so if you need a large vise, this isn't the one to get). It came with no instructions, and a bag with 4 plastic pieces. I put them where they should go on the vise, but they don't fit well. The vise is fine, but didn't wow me. It does the job, but the one we had in our last house (and left) was much better.

Yes, it’s very small, but the product description was accurate and it works well for simple needs. I used it to clamp the plastic device that holds my golf clubs for re-gripping. Had no problem clamping it to a saw horse made of 2X6 lumber and it was plenty steady to complete the project.

It was fine, as advertised. I bought it for a project I was hoping it could handle but it couldn’t. The job I had in mind was too big, but this thing is perfect for little jobs. I still use it for miscellaneous things here and there, but it can’t take too hard of a beating or it’ll start rotating on it’s s swivel.

It is not a large vise and obviously has limitations. It does come in handy for household projects. I will warn you to use the rubber covers over the vise edges as they are sharp enough to cut your fingers. I'm sure you could run a file over them to make them safer OR use the rubber covers they provide.

The only thing I don't like about it are the two "rubber" pieces that fit over the jaws. These pieces are not molded well and keep falling off the jaws. Other than that it's small but does exactly what I needed it to do (hold project boxes for drilling)
