  • Perfect for 2010 Dodge Nitro Detonator
Went in perfect in my daughter's Nitro Detonator.... yes Detonator, fancy, HA!... There are tags on the struts telling you that they will raise your car at least one inch until they settle. If it raised the front of the Nitro, I couldn't really tell. They look and feel like good quality, time will tell, but It's got a smoother ride and the front doesn't hit as hard when she hits bumps. I like 'em! ... show more

So far so good, fit perfectly, good ride. Only driven for a few days, but so far so good and no noise or bounce over bumps. 2011jeep liberty, same ride height

  • 1 inch More Makes a Hard Job Harder
This is the first pair of struts I've put on my Liberty in over 240,000 miles. Yes I got the number correct. After finding used clevis strut fork to replace my badly rusted one I made the install. I ended up needing my brother's assistance who is a certified mechanis. The task wasn't as simple as the YouTube video detailed. The nipple on the bottom of these struts are about an inch longer than the factory part making it that much more difficult to swap out. It was a tight squeeze even without the added inch. I wouldn't attempt this DIY alone. A second pair of hand are much needed. I scored 4 of 5 because of the extra length. It made the install that much more difficult. ... show more

  • Works great
I installed these on my Jeep Liberty and they work great.

  • Poor quality item.
Very disappointed in this product. If you have ever installed struts on a Jeep Liberty, you would know there is an alignment mark on the lower porting of the strut that the lower strut assembly clamps onto. The alignment mark needs to positioned between the gap from where the assembly clamps onto. The alignment mark was off by at least 10mm. To realign, you would need to loosen the top bolt and realign the mark. Also once this was done, things still did not line up very well. This is my second time installing struts on a Liberty, so I can't think of anything I did wrong. The parts are made in China. Moving forward I will only install suspension parts from a trusted manufacturer and probably from a parts store, not online. Nothing like having your car torn apart on a Sunday only to find the parts have an issue. At this point the makers of the product have you, your only choice is to proceed or put the old parts back on. I get the impression that many foreign made parts were never actually trial fitted before they were marketed. I will give these a few weeks but will probably send them back. ... show more

  • Bigger than original.
I purchased this product thinking it would be identical to the original. The item is actually wider and longer than the original. If you plan on lifting your jeep with a spacer use original parts not these.
