I'm so glad I spent the extra few dollars and got this rug, it's perfect. It is exactly as shown in pics (which is refreshing) let's face it, you don't always get what you pay for! The color blue is spot on and no smells or folds an CREASES..hooray! Very very pleased, so far..lol. Hope this helps someone like me who relies on reviews. ... show more

I received this rug earlier than expected. It was folded in half lengthwise and then rolled up. It was packaged in plastic with a lot of clear tape. My first impression was that it’s much darker in person than there picture. Where it says it’s “tan”, it’s really a lighter brown. The rug is very dark. I do like it a lot, but it’s important to mention that the stock picture makes it appear much lighter. I just received it yesterday so I can’t comment as to the wear. It’s taking a bit of time to flatten because it was packaged so oddly. It does feel very soft. I will have to update this review at a later date. ... show more

I actually bought 2 of these rugs for my living room, in 2 different sizes. To begin with, these rugs are beautiful and I love them both very much! The color was true to the picture as advertised, it was vivid, & soft. They both were shipped rolled up just once, and not folded over like in some reviews I've read. They both flattened out in practically no time at all. I shopped around for the best price on my double purchase, and amazon was the winner, although the price was very reasonable to begin with. So, I got a lovely product that I'm very happy with for a price that didn't make me cry. I'd recommend these rugs to anyone and would definitely buy again... ... show more

Just received this rug and it is really pretty, however, unlike other reviewers who said it rolled out nicely without creases, we will see. Looks like I am going to have to work my butt off trying to flatten this thing. The shipping plastic was on so snugly, I think vacuum shrunk, that the shrinkage of it caused the rug to crimp in a least 3 different places along it's length. Since the only place I have to roll it out is in my dining room on the wood floor, steaming it in place is not an option. I will probably have to take it to my daughter's house and lay it out on their garage slab. If I am successful I will add to this post. If unsuccessful, I will be returning it as damaged. ... show more

Cannot express how much I love this rug. The color is beautiful, a sort of dark rust orange bordering on red... hard to describe the exact shade but it's gorgeous. Pattern is also beautiful, just interesting enough without commanding too much attention. The texture is good (not soft and shaggy, but closer to a Persian rug). Bought both the 2'x3' rectangle and 6' runner in blue. Color is true to the pictures, and after re-rolling the rugs in the opposite direction from which they were packaged, they are already lying fairly flat to the floor. Actual dimensions of the rugs were as follows: 6' Runner: 73.5"x 23.76", and 2'x'3' Rectangle: 26"x38". Not sure if there is actually a range in actual dimensions for all of the La Jolla rugs, or if the differences in dimensions that I noted (and those observed by others) are merely differences between a consistent actual dimension and using a nominal dimension in the descriptions. However, if you need a rug with a very precise dimension, be sure to check the Q&A and Reviews to see what the actual dimensions are that have been received. For me, the additional length of the 6' runner was of no consequence, but the rectangle needed to be no more than 36" wide, so it does not work as I had intended. ... show more

I converted my sunroom into a massage office and wanted something soft under my feet while I work. The 9x12 size was perfect for my space and adds a calming touch. The advertised photos are exactly like the product. It was folded up when it arrived, so there were some creases that are mostly straightened out now (though I might need to iron out the rest with a wet towel eventually).
