I have had these same cargo pants for at least a decade and the old ones are falling apart. It is hard for me to get just the right cargo pants with just the right size pockets. I love my old pair but they are becoming unwearable around the house. They became unwearable in public a year ago. so I decided to see if they still make them and they do. I bought these pair in hopes of getting my original pair back and these are close. The first thing I noticed is a belt. not bad but not a good choice of add-on. I weighed the old pair and the new pair and the new pair is 1.3 OZ lighter even with the added belt. This means either less thick fabric or less fabric. My hold pair has a looser fit around the legs. These new ones are a tighter fit so maybe less fabric there. These are comfortable and have the nice size front pocket and cargo pockets that I like so my initial impression is I will like these. First day wearing them so I will see how it goes but so far so good. If I like them I will buy more in different colors. Followup 11/5/23 - did have a quick tighten/loosen belt I pulled off a different shorts and replace this belt. but once I changed the belt these are my fav shorts to wear. I wear them every day. I am buying another pair for next spring in case they quit selling them. The belt is the only drawback of these short. useless in my opinion the belt that comes with them but the pants themselves are great. love the colors as well. ... show more

I was looking for some knee length cargo shorts and found these, which have an 11" inseam which goes do my knees. The quality is good - with sturdy fabric, and they haven't wrinkled as much as some of my previous shorts have done.

I bought these in a size 50 last year and they were a tad snug. I have been losing weight (on purpose) so I treated myself to another pair of these wonderful shorts, now at size 48 and they fit pretty well. I am still losing weight with diet and exercise and it's taking a while to get slimmer. I won't be replacing my wardrobe completely for a bit longer but I have a great pair of shorts to wear in the meantime. ... show more

Pro's They use Velcro instead of buttons on the pocket flaps, it makes it so much easier to open. Buttons make the flaps wrinkle when not buttoned up. Well stitched, The front pockets are deep, so things won't fall out, well worth the money to me. Con's would be that they are 11 inch inseam, and is over the top part of my knee cap. I prefer a 9 inch inseam. Last time I bought cargo shorts was 15 years ago, and the material is thinner then my old ones. The small front pocket on the left side, made for a key fob doesn't have a Velcro flap, and you could possibly lose your key fob if it were to fall out. The belt looks ok, but I use my own belt. Don’t let the low price (~$28) lead you to believe these are lower quality shorts. They’re not. They’re quite amazing for the price and I’d buy them if they were double the price. I just ordered two more in different colors. They fit perfectly, they have more pockets than you’ll ever need, they come with a belt, they look nice and the rustic look adds charm. The shorts are great. Durable, comfortable, good fit. It the belt….the d loops that act as the buckle never stay straight. They’re ALWAYS turned sideways and upside down. I feel ridiculous wearing them. I’m constantly adjusting and correcting the belt. It’s the equivalent of missing a button on your shirt. I won’t buy another pair because of this. ... show more
