These are very comfortable and seem very durable. They do run large. I am 5 foot 11 and 295 pounds. I wear 50 waist on all my pants so I bought this in a 50 and they fall off of me. Have to use a belt to keep them up. I switched to a better quality belt. I don’t like the one the pants come with.

To the curious consumer who might be questioning these short, I am by far no fashion guide or anything close to it. I will however say that these are my favorite shorts. They are comfy and light weight have tones of pockets to carry a large wallet, cell phone, care keys, you name it, there is a pocket. I like the nuetral colors as they pretty much go with most any T-shirt/polo/Hawian shirt you want to wear. We spent all day hiking around arlington and George washington estate and although it was a very warm and humid day, I never felt any discomfort from the these shorts. They are comfortable for lounging, Flying, Hiking or just ordinary everyday activities. These are my pick. you will have to see for yourself. however, I dont feel you will have any regrets. Enjoy!

I ordered these shorts to wear for desert hiking and they are perfect! Fit is perfect, they are the perfect length, and the pockets are amazing...very deep!! The rapid delivery was the best part...delivered in less than eight hours after they were ordered. Very pleased with the service!!!!

Needed some cheap shorts to knock around in, and these fit the bill in that category. I ordered and received size 38, but apparently Union Bay has decided Men's clothing needs vanity sizing. These (3 pair) measured as size *42*, so order accordingly. The zipper is generic, with large teeth and rough operation. The included ring belt is basically formless/shapeless, giving a sloppy look, and unlike the shorts, is 100% polyester, not cotton. The shorts are light but feel fairly substantial, probably because of all the velcro-closure pockets. On a positive note, these actually look pretty good, but I don't expect them to last much beyond a season.
