Pro's They use Velcro instead of buttons on the pocket flaps, it makes it so much easier to open. Buttons make the flaps wrinkle when not buttoned up. Well stitched, The front pockets are deep, so things won't fall out, well worth the money to me. Con's would be that they are 11 inch inseam, and is over the top part of my knee cap. I prefer a 9 inch inseam. Last time I bought cargo shorts was 15 years ago, and the material is thinner then my old ones. The small front pocket on the left side, made for a key fob doesn't have a Velcro flap, and you could possibly lose your key fob if it were to fall out. The belt looks ok, but I use my own belt. I did like these so much, that I decided to buy more. ... show more

I've bought a bunch of these shorts and they have all been fine. Now today I get a pair and no belt. Obviously a return or one of the workers snagged the belt. Me personally I tend to use a different belt so it's not that big of a deal to me. I don't want to go through the hassle of exchanging it. I wish I could get even a few bucks for the missing belt but amazon is just going to tell me I have to return it. It's just funny amazon doesn't check over the returns better. Overall though I like these shorts for the price. They hit at my knee and are not super baggy but aren't tight ether. ... show more

I hike off trai with my dog. Obviously you don’t want to find yourself in the middle of nowhere and in need of something. I can tuck all my essentials and not feel weighted down. Also these shorts are sturdier than an others at this price. I went back and ordered 2 more. They can stand up to a couple of days in the woods and they look even better with washings. I’m 6’ & 187 pounds, size 34 works for me as I don’t feel the pockets tight on my thighs. ... show more

Only five belt loops, I much prefer seven. Belt is far too long, looks like a misplaced tail. Good fit and otherwise quite nice.
