Took me a few hours to put it together on my own. But well worth it! I surprised my 17yr old son when he returned from the hospital and he absolutely loves it. This bedframe is fair for the price point. There were a few screws that were not useable (not fully threaded) and I had a little difficulty figuring out the correct positioning of a couple pieces, but it went together ok and is sturdy. I was expecting the headboard to be a little deeper and have a beefier look, but it is relatively small with a full-size mattress. My son likes it and loves the lights and shelves on the headboard. I purchased this King size bed frame several months ago… I followed all instructions carefully and made sure that all bolts were securely tightened. The assembly was reasonably complicated but expected considering all the individual parts needing to come together. Within less than a month the metal legs began to buckle outward, and overtime the entire frame has become permanently BENT and WARPED. EVEN some of the SCREWS/BOLTS it came with to hold the parts together SNAPPED IN HALF. (See photos.) I tried to bend the metal bars back in place and re-secure the parts but the issue re-occurred and kept getting worse and worse. Now the frame cannot hold several of the horizontal slats in place that support the mattress underneath. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in this product. It was a hassle just to put it together, and now I am inconvenienced by having to take it apart, somehow return or get rid of it, and buy a whole new bed frame. The price was fair and it looked nice when first put together, but the quality of the metal is insufficient to support the function of this product. Perhaps, this issue might only apply to the King-size version, given amount of weight associated with it, but that should have been factored in to the product design. (I am not sure if there was a maximum weight limit mentioned in the product details, but I CAN say that it cannot support an average-size couple sleeping in a king size bed together.) ... show more
