Ok so this actually worked for me. Not 100 percent but it did a decent job. On my way off from work someone a truck in front of me flung a small rock from their tire towards me. It managed to hit dead center in my field of view. A bullseye crack was created. Finally I got so annoyed with this crack being directly where I see that I decided to give this windshield repair product a try. How I wish I had take a before picture because it was MUCH more noticeable before. It was darker in color and it looked like a deep air bubble in my window. Now it’s not as visible and I’m less annoyed by it because I don’t notice it as much as when I’m driving. So I give it 4 stars for doing good on a bullseye crack. Now for a star shape crack I did not get the same result. It had zero effect on a star crack. No improvements at all. Maybe I missed the mark when trying to inject the resin into the crack but I gave up after a while. I was mainly more concerned more with the bullseye crack being right in front of me than the other star cracks off to the sides out of my vision. Another thing I didn’t like was trying to squeeze out drops from the bottles. The tips of the bottles have small holes that nothing can get through. So you’re either going to have to get scissors and cut the tips off a little more or remove the whole tips and just pour some resin into the tube. Overall it works if you find the sweet spot but might not be a 100% fix. ... show more

The resin is fine, and the repair worked for a small chip/crater with 1/4” crack. The application tool is not robust enough for how they want you to use it. The plastic threads on the unit I received failed under even slight pressure, breaking the seal. The plunger that’s meant to force resin into the cracks also didn’t make a tight enough seal to be effective so I ended up holding the applicator, filling with more resin than needed and using the plunger more like a little ram to push resin down. Made a bit of a mess but it all scrapes off clean. Got the finished repair flush to the glass and wipers work fine. ... show more

I chose this product based on the great evaluation rate. Be aware, this is a fraud! The vendor used other product’s comments to make that score. I noticed right when opened the box by the poor quality of the plastic tool. The tension bar won’t hold pressure when I tested on my windshield. I did my rock chip repair with another product I’ve used before. About this product, instead of returning it, I decided testing the resin only for the crack (not the chip) and by far this is the worst resin I ever used. It won’t dry during the fist phase before removing excess of resin and will undo the part that is supposed to penetrate the crack. I did again the process and left a bit on the sim and got difficult to remove the excess. Terrible. Keep in mind that even good products won’t fix the crack. Will help a lot with rock chips, but there’s no fix for cracks. ... show more

Clear instructions. However, tension bar and assemble are made of extremely soft and cheap plastic. Doesn’t hold tension. It just made a mess and the moment I injected the filler I could tell it wasn’t taking. Used on chips, a crack and a tiny spider web impact point. I ditched the tension assembly and tried the filler in another spot by hand. It absolutely failed again. This product failed miserably! I’ve filled a few windshield cracks in my time and it’s not that hard. So many better and much easier products out there. Do NOT use this one. You’re better off rolling with the cracks or using super glue. ... show more

This kit is junk. The flaw could be remedied if the tube the pressure bar slides into was made of silicone. It's just a loose plastic tube so zero pressure is created and the liquid can't be forced into the crack. Messy, cheap and does not work at all. The process actually caused my ding to grow to a crack with the pressure the tube puts on the glass. The permatex kit actually works. Wish I'd just got that one. ... show more
