I got these gloves because I recently got into snowboarding and wanted to get a pair of my own. I had a trip planned and ordered these a few weeks before leaving. I was very impressed by these gloves and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a set at a reasonable price. The temperatures were in the 20s-40s (Fahrenheit) and they kept my hands warm and dry the entire time. I wanted a pair with the zipper to put a hand warmer in, but did not even need to use it this trip. It snowed all day one day while boarding and these stayed warm and dry, even after taking them off at times and getting my hands and the insides of the gloves wet from the snow. The safety strap that goes around your wrist is extremely helpful if you are like me and want to take your gloves off while on the lift or to use your phone while going down the mountain. I never felt like the gloves would fall off my wrists. The fit was to size and the touch screen ability does work well. However, when I wanted to use my phone I just took the glove off because it’s easier to use with my hand, personally. The thumb is a little bulky to text with but these are gloves for snow, not for texting. The gloves did not have any cosmetic issues upon arrival and are very comfortable. I have only used these on one trip so I can not attest to their long-term durability, but so far I have been very impressed. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a pair of reasonable gloves for skiing or snowboarding that doesn’t want to spend the money for a super fancy, name brand set of gloves.

I was a little nervous about how these would fit because my hands are oddly sized (kinda between a large and X-large) but these fit perfectly. I loved how I was able to hold a snowball for several minutes (while waiting for a shuttle) and never felt the tiniest bit of chill. Never even had to use a hand warmer insert either. If you're looking for the best cold weather gloves, you've found em here. Update: after experiencing sub-zero wind chills and single digit temps that caused our pool to freeze over, I decided to give these gloves a true test. I made a hole in the ice in our pool and submerged my gloved hand. If I had not been looking at my hand go under the ice, I would have never known. These gloves are truly outstanding at keeping the cold out. I had the glove submerged for around 10-15 minutes and not once felt any cold. I can't say enough good about these gloves.

I absolutely love these gloves. I’ve taken them on multiple ski trips this year, including one where the standing temp was 12° on the mountain, and my hands have stayed warm and dry the whole time. These are the best pair of gloves I have ever worn, and the straps and pockets are so so convenient. The touch screen pads on my fingers don’t work super well but they work for small tasks like typing in a passcode and such. I think they’re 100% worth getting. The white does get dirty after some use though, if that’s something you’re worried about, but I think they still look super cool. I bought them for my boyfriend as a present and ended up getting myself some because he loved them so much. Recommended these to all my friends too.

These gloves are well-constructed and warm. The fit is good and the design is shaped to the hand, not completely flat, so hand and finger movement feels natural, not awkward. I can use the keyboard on my phone while wearing these gloves, although typing with them is limited to tapping the keys with my index finger. The gloves have a generous extended cuff, with elastic on the inner wrist and a velcro-backed strap on the outer wrist to adjust the fit; the cuff keeps the chilly wind out of my jacket sleeve. There is also a drawstring on the outer edge of the cuff that could be tightened to help keep snow out. The outer shell of the glove is very water-resistant, but if you are out too long (over an hour) in a drenching rain, the gloves will gradually get wet all the way through to your hands. (No breathable fabric is completely waterproof.) However, the insulating material in these gloves will help keep some warmth in your hands, even when the glove is thoroughly soaked. And, these gloves are easy to wring out and fairly fast-drying. The gloves come with a snap buckle to keep the pair together when not in use, and each glove includes an elastic strap for a ski pole. (I don't use them for skiing, so I used scissors to cut through the elastic straps and remove them.) There is a small zippered pocket on top of each glove that can fit a flat key or something equally tiny. A plastic driver's license or debit card can fit, but stowing that in the pocket makes the top of the glove too stiff for your hand to comfortably make a fist. These Unigear gloves are thoughtfully designed and neatly constructed of good quality materials. Highly recommended.
