In order to outfit my family if 3, I ordered 7 bags on Amazon at different price point to compare. This ski boot bag and one other brand are the only two on Amazon, as far as I could find, that have attached ski and snowboard straps, which I found to be enormously useful on a recent ski trip where we have to walk a bit to get to the area. The overall construction is very sturdy, and other than the entire snow gear (skis, helmet, goggles), it also held our entire ski outfit (base layer, snow pants, wool socks. Plus the jacket strapped to the snowboard straps, see pic). THE WHOLE SHEBANG securely packed in one bag!!! I could not have been more impressed! Other brand name bags I bought that cost $30 - 40 more didn’t have half the features 👎 Needless to say, I returned everything else and purchase 2 additional Unigear bags. The research, comparison shopping and gear testing took me a while, but I’m so glad I did. I otherwise would have paid a lot more for a lesser bag.

Update: I've used this bag on 4 ski trips now and it has held up well. Zippers still run very smooth. I only use it to carry my gear to and from my home and travel lodge, no back country carry. The zippers are holding up and I've gotten better and stuffing this bag with as much stuff as possible. If you have gloves or other tougher items you don't mind banging around with your boots, you can squeeze in more stuff into the large boot compartment of the bag. Also, don't forget to put things like socks into your boot to maximize even more space utilization. --- Overall this is a nice bag for the price, but the storage capacity listed for this bag is wrong. This is a 50L bag not a 55L bag, this is based off the given dimensions and confirmed by my own measurements. If you need a 55L bag find something else, but if you want a 50L bag this is a good bag for the price. I wish this was a true 55L bag as that is what I wanted. The fabric is a bit thin when compared to my other boot bag, but at it's price point the bag is worth it. Plus the thinner fabric makes the bag lighter and easier to carry. Only time will tell if it can hold up. There are a two nice small pockets to hold gear or other small travel essentials: one small internal sewn pocket and one Velcro flap on the front. Their is a main compartment in the back for your boots, one at the top which is good for hemlets, and one at the front which is good for clothes. Due note that once the boots are put in it crowds out the other pockets a bit. The cushion on the straps is light but acceptable and these is a sterum strap. The back also has a thin 1/4 inch later of cushion. The bottom of the bag is lined with a tarp like materials. There are no vent or drain holes for the boots and no feet to protect the bottom of the bag. Keep that in mind when storing your boots or throwing your bag down. The zippers work well, run smooth, and don't catch. Not sure how strong they are but the bag is built is such a way not to put a lot of stress on the zippers.

I just got my bag today, put all my snowboard gear in it and I’m pretty impressed! The way the gear is loaded in the photos is exactly how it is. For reference, I’m 5’2”, 160lbs and wear a women’s 7.5 snowboard boot and a L/XL in clothing. I managed to fit my boots, snow bib, jacket, helmet, goggles, gloves, 2 pairs of snow socks, base layer set, regular long sleeve shirt, snowboard tool, external battery and balaclava in it and still have a bit of wiggle room for my GoPro stuff ! I’ve used a large gym duffle bag for my gear and it’s a pain to carry on your shoulder or as a crossbody, so having a backpack is definitely an upgrade! It actually doesn’t feel as heavy as it sounds and I’m glad there’s also straps to attach your snowboard to the back if you want your to be hands/arms to be free. It is pretty large for someone my height but again, it’s way better than using a duffle bag. Similar, popular brands easily charge 3+x more for the same features! The backpack straps are lightly padded and I like that much more than heavily padded ones because it feels less bulky. The adjustable sternum strap is has a good range of adjustment to fit shorter and taller people. I’m a huge fan of the zipper pulls cause you’ll definitely be able to handle them with your gloves on. Looking at the material and seams it looks to be in good construction. I will be testing it’s durability in a few weeks and will update my review if needed.

This bag is so much better than expected! It’s a little big for my son, but once we adjusted the length of the straps, it worked perfectly. Because my son and I both ski and snowboard, we previously shared one massive Marker bag to haul all of our stuff around, and after years of doing that I finally decided I was sick of it and got us each our own boot bag. This bag fit his ski boots, snow pants, helmet, goggles, and jacket. We’ve only used it twice so far, but it seems to be made well and it’s comfortable to wear. There’s also a hidden pocket on the inside of the bag which I found useful.
