  • Updated - Replacement unit does not leak.
I updated this review. The replacement cleaner works perfectly. No leaks at all. Replacement unit does a great job at cleaning. I set the unit up, filled it with IPA and a couple of hours later I noticed that it had leaked all over my work bench. Returning to Amazon for a replacement. Hopefully the replacement works better. ... show more

  • What a big difference
After doing some research I opted to get this cleaning station due it's sonic cleaning capabilities. Previously I was pre washing prints in IPA and then performing the final cleaning in my old cleaning station. With this unit I popped the build plate with the model attached. When the cleaning cycle completed I was speechless I could see details on the model more sharply and overall the models looked 90% cleaner without pre washing. This unit is very easy to operate and there are consumable sponges that go into the bottom on the cleaning station vat which catch all the loose resin. It prevents you from washing your models in floating resin etc. There is a big difference vs the regular cleaning stations that just slosh IPA over your prints. This was a big game changer for me and speeded up my post model clean up process significantly. The unit feels like it's built like a tank and it's kind of hard to hear when its running during the wash cycle. Amazing job Uniformation. ... show more

  • It doesn't clean very well, it's loud, and it leaks.
My first 1 didn't include the foam filter in the bottom of the device so I got a replacement. The 2nd one has a slow leak and I don't know where from. Luckily I have a silcone mat underneath, but every day when I go down to my workshop there is a small pool of resin-y IPA under neath it, and I can see a small drip collecting on the lower left edge. It's definitely not overfilled. It also doesn't clean very well. No better than just dunking prints in IPA. Putting the print in a mason jar of IPA and gently swirling it around does a better job of cleaning in my opinion. Oh, and it's super loud.. a nails on chalk board, feel it in your bones kind of noise. With all this said, I'm returning it. The GKtwo is a great machine and easily earns 5 stars, but I would recommend looking elsewhere from your wash & cure needs. I hope uniformation takes the time in the future to come up with new wash & cure machines that match the quality, attention to detail, and thoughtful design of the GKtwo. ... show more

  • One year in and I would not buy this again
Review - 1 year in on the GKTwo and, well... NOT GOOD I'm coming up on a full year with the full GKTwo setup - printer, wash and cure - and sadly, everything is falling apart. See more details in the photos and video below, but the high(low)lights are; 1. Cover hinges broke with weeks. 2. "spiderweb" cracks through printer cover after a few months. 3. Large pressure crack(s) on printer touchscreen. 4. Build plate lock is WAY too tight and I have to be very careful when I lock it down prior to printing. 5. Wash station had bad leak in the drain plug initially. Rather than deal with a lengthy return process, I disassembled it, replaced the seal and tightened it properly. 6. Power supply on UV Station seems to be failing, as it takes 20-30 seconds for the lights and turntable to power fully. I haven't started trouble shooting yet. I'm hoping it's the power brick and not the internal DC supply. As a resin newbie, this thing was great out of the box. Setup was quick and I started printing right away. The resin warmer is a great feature, but other manufacturers now offer similar capabilities. To be clear, I maintain all of my equipment well. FEP are changed regularly - I have two that I rotate, so one is always fresh. I clean and lube the z screw monthly. And I have replaced the LCD cover twice already. A year in, however, the shine is off the apple. Considering the amount of money I paid for this setup, I could've purchased two competitors printers. The more model shows and groups I interact with, the less of these I see (comparatively speaking). As the title suggests, I cannot and will not recommend this printer to anyone. As soon as I use up the remaining FEP replacements, I'll be selling this (dirt cheap, no doubt because of all the issues) and replacing it with another brand. ... show more

  • My mistake on old review, drain made of bass and can’t rust
Using 99% alcohol and already starting to rust. It’s only been 8 days. Returning for a refund. Update: I decided to do a replacement instead and thought I had the same issue on the replacement but turns out it’s just left over oil from production. The fitting is made of brass. Brass doesn’t rust so that’s my bad. I’ve been using this ultrasonic cleaner for more than a month and it’s been amazing. I do my dirty wash in the Heygears wash station then use this ultrasonic for the clean was for about 2 min. My favorite part about it is the drain tube It makes it so easy to drain the dirty IPA into old milk jugs to cure outside. One of my best investments ... show more

  • Looks great, first one arrived damaged, second one was not impressive
After buying two of these, neither one really worked. The first one was bad, probably a bad transducer. The second one arrived I filled it up and it was also very lacking in the cleaning department. I recommend just looking at a larger Vevor ultrasonic cleaner it's cheaper and works. Outside of it not working, it looked great. I can't say I would recommend this cleaner. ... show more

  • Not worth the money...
The production functions well, but it's not really worth the price tag. There are cheaper models that will work better if you're not totally bought into the UF line. Why? UF says that you should fill this with IPA which is absolutely a terrible idea when it comes to safety. Second, regardless of UF's statement about staineless steel the systems rusts and discolours water if that is what you decide to put in there for safety reasons. If you want to buy this, ignore the idea of putting in IPA. That's just dangerous. Rather, put in water and then put in, say, a plastic baggy filled with IPA into which you put your printed piece. Ultrasonicate was required. ... show more
